Descripción
This is an institution that was founded in 2016.
We are caring for about 40 dogs in our place and caring for the animals in the villages around too.
Our place is directly at the ocean, besides a river and the djungle in the middle between tourist destinations Arambol and Mandrem, North Goa.
We have two bamboo huts to make a comfortable stay for two people, with river view.
Some information about the exchange here:
- Work is starting at 7 AM.
- We are expecting at least 3 hours of help a day and 6 days a week. (20 hour weeks). Due to changes and emergency cases.
- The work can be at different times during the day
- We supply only accomodation, no food. A shared kitchen is available.
- You may have to share the hut with one other person, as there are two beds
- No alcohol, smoking or other drugs
- You can get a mobile data SIM card here with good 4G, but it takes 3-4 days to activate.

Ich war insgesamt 5 Wochen. Dort leben aktuell 65 Hunde, von denen alle super lieb sind. Ich habe in meiner eigenen Hütte übernachtet und diese mit den Hunden Bounty, Meera, Ponchik und Schneggele geteilt. Es ist so schön, dass sich die Hunde überall frei bewegen können. We stayed at Michael's place for 2 weeks and can only wish we had more time to stay longer. The lifestyle is simple and peaceful. You will stay in a Bamboo hut so be very prepared for sand and ants! Staying at the this project was great. We fed the dogs each morning and evening with very little work to do in between. A unique experience walking down an empty beach with 50+ dogs. You’re able to explore the beach, meet locals, or do absolutely nothing if you please. A loving area for dogs with a great cause, all they want is to be loved.

This was my first workaway experience and it was amazing!!! I stayed in the temple for 2 weeks and Michael, Neeru and Silky are doing such an amazing job! Rescuing stray dogs while feeding them with tasty and healthy food, loving them and treating them like family is such an ART! I learned a lot from all of them!!!

Mackenzie was an amazing help, she was our only help during this time.
In the rainy season less or no workawayers are coming and it can be quite tough and wild weather, but even in the rain she went and fed every day hungry beach dogs.

This is a wonderful place to volunteer! Even though it was the rainy season, I still loved to spend time with all the dogs. They are so sweet and loving. Neeru and Michael were very great hosts. Anyone will have a good time at this place. I hope to return someday!

We spent three weeks here and it was just an amazing time!
You have to help 3 hours per day, but we recommend doing more than that, because it is such a pleasure to be a part of this organsisation.
