 - Descripción- Hi, since 2020, we are building a permaculture project in the beautiful desert of Baja California Sur on the shores of the marine park of Cabo Pulmo.
Our goal is to build a community based on nature's standards; construction of our housing with natural available resources (super adobe and straw bale), rainwater-catchment and filtering, grey and blackwater reuse, bio-digesting to produce our gas and compost tea while all is running on solar electricity.
We grow our own food (a vegetable garden, milk goats, chicken, bees and in future maybe rabbits). Greening the desert, by influencing water runoff so it penetrates the earth faster and deeper and thus give all that grows a better chance to thrive (indeginiuos cacti, shrub and trees).
We try to not create any trash and if we (have to) use polluting materials (plastics for waterlines and electricity for instance) we compensate by pulling the same amount of of the dumpster, to give a new life (for instance we make building bricks out of plastic bottles).
 Nature dictates and we follow!

 - Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje- We are diving instructors that fell in love with this desert, where we 'landed' and want to implement all we've learned and are still learning in and during our travels.
If you are interested in living completely off the grid, sustainable but comfortable, if you want to learn building techniques with nature's gifts without producing trash or pollution, learn languages (English, Spanish, Dutch, German) and all while enjoying the quietness of the desert away from 'civilization', watching beautiful sunrises and sunsets instead of television, pitch-dark nights, than look no further, you have arrived!
We are not looking for help or assistance in marine activities, since working the park is restricted and in need of approvals that are not in our hands.
 - Proyectos con niños- En este proyecto podría haber niños. Para obtener más información, consulta nuestras directrices y consejos aquí.
 - Ayuda- We are looking for hands to get houses (dome style) build and decorated, we'd like to get support in internet stuff (websites and such), help in the garden with the preparation of the earth (for instance swales and hügel building, irrigation systems, compost and soil production), taking care of the animals and such. Let us please know what you can help with (and your specialties) in your application.
 - Idiomas hablados- Alemán: Fluido
 Inglés: Fluido

A camping with compost toilet, shower and kitchen area for winter months inclusive space for your trailer... Full board (breakfast and lunch to be prepared by yourself, dinner will be prepared together).
 - Algo más...- Besides the beautiful desert, there is the world famous Cabo Pulmo marine park (Jaques Cousteau called it 'the aquarium of the world) with a vast sea life (inclusive turtles, huge schools of all kind of fish, sea lions and sharks), for scuba diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, kayak and swimming. Pristine and desolate beaches to sunbath, relax with a book or hike. Mountainbiking and hiking the hills, birdwatching, it's wildlife...
We are Qigong instructor, reiki and massage therapist, animal communicator, dive instructor and constructive educator and we are always in for a good chat by the campfire...

We discovered the superadobes, the biodigester, living of the land, being a shepherd and so much more.
The tasks we had to perform were always enjoyable (especially with our best friend Palo Brazil! ) and Henri is a very educational work manager.

Their homestead is everything we had hope for and more. The vibe is very relaxed and we enjoyed every minute of it. We built a website for Rancho Baja Verde, helped Henri with earth-plastering the casitas and started a small campground area. He explained to us all of his systems and… read more
