We are an environmental NGO that works with the community of Ushuaia. We are looking for volunteers interested in providing information and collaborating in the enhancement of a trail on the Beagle Channel Coast, in addition to collaborating in educational activities that are scheduled for the spring/summer season.
The Onashaga Coast trail is a place attended by hundreds of people a year during the spring-summer season. The Association is currently developing a value enhancement project with posters and information for visitors.
Somos una ONG ambientalista que trabaja con la comunidad de Ushuaia. Buscamos voluntarios interesados en brindar información y colaborar en la puesta en valor de un sendero sobre la Costa del Canal Beagle, además de colaborar en actividades educativas que estén programadas para la temporada de primavera/verano.
El sendero Costa Onashaga es un lugar al cual asisten cientos de personas al año durante la temporada primavera verano. Actualmente Asociación está desarrollando un proyecto de puesta en valor con cartelería e información al visitante.

We need people who walk a 3 km trail frequently for the control and repair of jails and signage. In addition, they can provide information to the community about the Costa Onashaga project of which they must have some knowledge to be able to introduce the visitor.
On this path, it is also necessary for the volunteer to be attentive to basic cleaning and maintenance issues, without it being his duty to completely clean the sectors, but collaborating in it and giving notice of the problems he finds.
The fundamental task is to be in contact with the visitors, providing information about the place, pointing out any misconduct (avoiding confrontations), helping to identify species of flora and fauna or informing about the natural values of the place. Also that you can apply some surveys and interviews to visitors.
It is an exclusive requirement to speak Spanish

Necesitamos personas que recorran un sendero de 3 km con frecuencia para el control y reparación de carcelerías y señalización. Además que puedan brindar información a la comunidad sobre el proyecto Costa Onashaga del cual se debe tener algunos conocimientos para poder introducir al visitante.
En este sendero es necesario que también el voluntario esté atento a cuestiones básicas de limpieza y mantenimiento sin ser su deber la limpieza total de los sectores pero colaborando en ello y dando aviso de los problemas que encuentre.
La tarea fundamental es estar en contacto con los visitantes, brindando información sobre el lugar, señalar alguna mala conducta (evitando confrontaciones), ayudando en la identificación de especies de flora y fauna o informando sobre los valores naturales del lugar. También que pueda aplicar algunas encuestas y entrevistas a visitantes.

Accommodation is planned in the house of members of the Association, where eventually the kitchen and bathroom will have to be shared with members of the organization. It could be a space with a shared bathroom.

There are two days off but as much as possible they should not be during the weekend since in those days it is when we need the volunteer the most.
The minimum length of stay is 1 month and the maximum is 3 months.
During this time arrangements can be made for the volunteer to have time to do tourism in the province by returning hours at another time if necessary.

Es requisito fundamental contar con seguro de viajero para poder trabajar en la Reserva
Hay dos días libres pero en lo posible no deben ser durante fin de semana ya que en esos días es cuando más necesitamos al voluntario.
El tiempo de estadía mínimo es de 1 mes y el máximo de 3 meses.
Durante ese tiempo se pueden hacer arreglos para que el voluntario tenga tiempo para realizar turismo en la provincia devolviendo horas en otro momento si fuera necesario.
