Hi, my name is Elena, I'm in my 60s, Romanian and I moved back from the city to the countryside 6 years ago to look after my dad who is in his 90s. Despite his age, he is a very active guy and he doesn't need any special help.

I'm speaking only Romanian, so you are in the right place if you want to learn this beautiful Latin language. I have a beginner level in English and I would like to improve that. I understand a bit of Spanish and Italian, due to the Latin similarities. Besides the language exchange, you can discover the day-by-day life in Southern Romania. I use to prepare traditional dishes pretty regularly, as I like to cook natural products, especially from the garden. Feel free to discover this amazing southern region called Muntenia, one hour's drive to the Carpathian Mountains. The place where I'm living is a normal Romanian village, not very picturesque by itself, but it is very well located and connected by public transport, 10 km from Targoviste where you can find plenty of museums, parks and restaurants. My village is directly connected to Bucarest as well, around 2 hours by public transport.
