LAST MINUTE ONLY!
We live in a quiet secluded renovated farm . We breed Husumer pigs, Walliser Schwartznaze sheep and Welsumer chickens Also a breeder of Great swiss mountaindogs and miniature Mediterranean donkeys.

The North of the Netherlands is a very attractive area with lots to see and do locally. If you are keen on walking or cycling, there are a number of good and challenging routes around. The farm is situated alongside a canal which offers fishing and boattrip.s The local towns are bursting with history and ripe for exploration. The university town of Groningen with a vibrant ambience, contemporary fashions, range of affordable bars and restaurants, a growing international performance-art festival and the best nightlife in the region.

We are looking for volunteers that can help with animal care,( dogs, sheep, pigs) small repairs, cleaning, wood chopping, putting up fences bicyclerepair.etc.

We were kept busy with building projects and learned some new skills along the way. There wasn't as much working with the animals as we hoped, but I guess this varies seasonally.
We enjoyed exploring the area, particularly Groningen which is a really cool town.
Eline is very chill and good to talk with. She has a great sense of humour and very sharp and direct what I really appreciated.
I enjoyed also the company of Lucien he is also very funny and kind person and he loves to talk!

She has been really accomodating for my arrival (by hitchiking) and for my departure (leave me at a bus stop 30 min away). Moreover the stay was really enjoyable, animals are great and the farm is such a cool place.

The animals are all beautiful and the three big dogs loved attention.
The farm is in a lovely area and we were allowed to use the small motorboat for trips on the canal.
