Descripción
We have spent the last couple of long summers at our beautiful, old manor house in South West France and
have hosted some fabulous Workaways during that time.
This year looks a little different for us and the projects we were working on are now completed.
Work and family commitments will be keeping us in the UK for longer periods of time this year and we have
fabulous neighbours and a gardener keeping a close eye on everything for us.
However, we have decided that we need to explore having house sitters in residence from April to the beginning
of August and also for a month in September.
This would ideally suit a couple with their own car as we are a 7/8 minute drive from our nearest town. The peaceful space would be great for someone wanting to sketch and paint, read, write, practice yoga and meditation etc.
We have no intention of leaving an endless list of tasks for our house sitters but would need a few hours a week to
look after the house and garden.
We love the Chalosse countryside in Les Landes. The locals are friendly, the weather is mild and we are just an hour away from beautiful beaches and a couple of hours away from the Pyrenees.
We would love to Zoom or Facetime with interested parties who want a complete change of scene.

The locality itself and the friendly locals will enable opportunities for those wishing to improve their French.
We can do a weekly Zoom to share our knowledge of the area etc.

Alojamiento
Dedicated studio apartment with own fully fitted kitchen and shower room. We can provide two beds or a super king for a couple. Sole use of the garden and pool area for the majority of time.

The village location of Laborde is quiet and peaceful.
There are lovely walks and places to visit both towards the coast (from Capbreton to Biarritz) and towards the pretty Pyrenees.
The local market in Dax (25 min drive) is full of fabulous local produce and is a Saturday highlight.

If you have the chance to go stay with them you should definitely check it out. They are great people. 💕💕
