Kia Ora! Holaa! All the Hellooos! Im currently cutting and pasting my kitchen using a jigsaw and a drill. If you have any building experience I would love to hear from you! If you prefer stays with less kids, No problem! It's just me and my housemate every second week! Other very appreciated skills would be basic plumbing, painting, stripping wallpaper, gardening. I also alway love extra hands in the house with children and housework. I live in Oamaru, 5 minutes walk from the harbour and town. I can offer awesome food, great company, wine and laughs in return. I'm completely flexible with hours of work and types of work you prefer to engage in.

We are happy to help with improving English and local knowledge. We live close to the Alps to Ocean cycle way that runs from Mount Cook to Oamaru Harbour. We take regular trips to the river, lake and sea and love sharing these excursions with happy workawayers.

As a family, we are interested in all language and culture. I especially would love to learn some Spanish and French.
Sometimes I can provide a private room. If you are happy to share a room with another workawayer, please let me know when you enquire. 😊 We live 2 minutes walk from town and 5 minutes walk to the harbour.
We have an interest in other cultures and ways of living. In the past we have enjoyed having people from around the world living with us. For a small town there is lots to explore including Steam Punk, Victorian heritage, The vanished world trail and the A2O track. We are non smokers and love adventures. Our family interests include hiking, Tennis, Basketball, Arts, cycling, dance, music and gymnastics.....(expect to see me standing on my head a lot). If you have no interest in chatting to children, let me know and we can arrange dates when they are away. 🙃

Olivia and her family are so kind and welcoming. I could choose my own job as I felt like it. Olivia can offer good company, well behaved children and a stunning home.
I also had plenty of time to explore Oamaru and the area. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.
I would highly recommend Olivia as a
We were able to meet her other children who live nearby and they are all a good family. The children are all honest and lovely. Olivia's house is in the centre of town, so we went to see the penguins in the evening and took walks in
Since I was the only workawayer for most of the time, I have spent many hours trying to keep the kitchen clean during my first days, which is a challenge with that many people in the house. Washing the dishes, cleaning after the kids, looking after
My job was flexibility but mainly helping them with a number of dishes, cooking, playing with children etc. The childre made me busy and entertained every day, and gave me the great opportunities of English practice.
I hope you and your family will remain healthy and cheerful. See you again

We travelled with 3 kids, and they had great time playing with Olivia’s Kids. Wonderful hedge and trampoline:-)

I felt welcomed and I really had the feeling that they wanted me to have a great time in Oamaru because they did so many activities with me: we went to a beautiful lake, the beach, a river with swimming holes, I saw beautiful gardens and parks, Aaron was our personal tourist
I loved playing games with the kids - They wore me out!
This is probably the biggest family I have been around. and I enjoyed every moment of it. I'm not that good with names, but I got them down after a while. I had a blast playing with the kids, and keeping them preoccupied in the
