Welkom to our family. We, Bianca and Roland, have together 4 children in the age between 17 and 21.
As soon as your coming over your part of our Family
We like you to stay at our place, to learn from each other, and we love to show you around at lovely place's like Blokzijl and Giethoorn in the great national park "The Weerribben". We live very close to it!
We have some nice projects coming up this year where we need some help on. All the help needed is around our house and private garden. The campsite we have built is a non profit ecostay place where you'll meet more backpackers. At this private place we created a little community to have fun and joy together. We are always in for party's, good wine and nice story's from all over the world.
Your help days are Monday till Friday.
Normal day: Start at 8, koffie and breakfast at 9 till 9.30 and help till noon.
After the tasks your free to go and we provide bikes to travel in the area.
There is an allowance of 50 Euro a person a week for you to buy some food in the supermarket. You can cook in the holiday house where you stay
Some evenings we like to have a nice chat together with a couple of beers or wine, and some evenings we like to take some time for ourselves.
The most important thing is that we can trust you, and then you will have a great time at our farm!

Help around the private area or in the house, there is a big garden, and we have a private camping area where your staying.
Tasks will mainly be outside but when it's rainy or cold we will find something inside!
When you have some nice skills about anything let us know and we try to get you on to this.
There are always hands needed on some DIY projects.
There are always tasks in the garden and around the house.

The work isn't hard and, fortunately, it is very varied, like cutting grapes, helping to make wine to Roland's father, selecting potatoes, cleaning, etc. There is always work to do.

I worked for Roland for 3 weeks, his family is nice, his farm is beautiful. The wine made there is very good. I did several jobs, like washing tractor, carpentry and looking after the vines.

Rafael and Lara are great to meet! they took a lot of responsibitity and they worked really hard.
They did a lot of work in the grapes and on the field. But also at home they were always helpfull.
They have seen a lot of our area by bike and scooter :-) .
