I'm retired expat living in Santa Marta for the past 12 years, I am from the USA. I have a four bedroom, three bath, house in working class barrio 5km outside the city Centre. I enjoy going to the beach, doing surfing near the beaches of Tayrona, hiking up in the Sierra Nevada and biking in the mountains and also around the city. You would be more than welcome to join me on weekdays or days off to go hiking, surf near Tayrona or chill near other beaches in santa marta, Taganga, Rodadero. I am looking for someone with experience personal training, help with cleaning, and some cooking.

I can introduce them to what living is like for an expat in a foreign country and orient them for further exploration in the surrounding area , the beaches, the sierra Nevada. although I cant provide much what its like living with Colombian family. But what you cultural exchange you can gain from staying here is to have an experience of living in Colombian neighborhood , outside the city centre where few tourists come to see.

Looking for someone who has some experience in personal training, also do some light cooking, who knows about good nutrition and healthy eating, some cleaning. Also, some Spanish would be helpful to do some food shopping, buy fresh food from the store that is very close by.

Private bedroom with own bathroom. I have a large comfortable queen size air mattress or a regular bed to sleep on, and you would have access to all other areas of the house including the kitchen.
Workaways must provide their own meals, but can share most meals if they want,

Lots to do in santa marta, parque tayrona is only 45 minutes by car, the great beaches nearby, the mountains in Minca, hiking, swimming in clear rivers, great food and lots of bars, clubs, only 20 minutes by taxi to the city centre.
