  We are a family of three: me, my partner Jose, and our 10-year-old daughter, Alberta.
  
  I'm passionate about organic farming, cooking, traveling, yoga, and music. Jose is an artist who loves books, and Alberta enjoys dancing, reading, drawing, playing the piano, and spending time with creative people. We're an easygoing family who feel incredibly lucky to call this Mediterranean paradise our home.
  
  Menorca is famous for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and unspoiled natural beauty. With warm, sunny weather for most of the year, it's the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle.
  
  One of the island's greatest charms is its relaxed pace of life. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the people are friendly and welcoming. You'll discover picturesque villages, delicious local cuisine, and countless beautiful places to explore, from hidden coves and coastal paths to scenic countryside trails.
  
  Whether you enjoy swimming, hiking, cycling, or simply watching unforgettable sunsets, Menorca has something for everyone. Even during the busier summer months, when more visitors arrive, the island retains its unique, tranquil character.
  
  In recent years, Menorca has also become a vibrant destination for contemporary art. The island is home to inspiring galleries, cultural events, and exhibitions that attract artists and visitors from around the world, creating a thriving and ever-growing creative scene.

  We truly value cultural exchange and hope that hosting a Workawayer will be a rewarding experience for all of us. Here, you'll have the opportunity to experience everyday life in Menorca, discover our customs and traditions, and enjoy the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle.
  
  We'll be happy to share our favourite places, recommend hidden gems, and help you explore the island beyond the typical tourist attractions. Whenever our schedules allow, we'd love to spend time together, share meals and conversations, and learn about each other's cultures.
  
  In return, we hope our daughter will naturally improve her English through everyday interaction while getting to know someone from a different cultural background. We believe this exchange is about much more than language—it's about creating meaningful connections, broadening perspectives, and making lasting memories together.

  Ayuda

  Throughout the year, we would love to welcome creative, cheerful young women to stay with us for short periods (one or two weeks) and spend time playing and speaking English with our 10-year-old daughter.
  
  We are not looking for a nanny, as we work from home. Instead, we'd love to host someone fun, engaging, and enthusiastic who enjoys coming up with games, crafts, outdoor sports, or other creative activities that naturally encourage our daughter to improve her English.
  
  Our daughter also loves playing the piano, so it would be wonderful if our guest enjoyed playing the piano as well—it would be a lovely bonus!

  Alojamiento

  We offer a private apartment that has been recently renovated. It includes a comfortable living room with a TV, a fully equipped kitchen-dining area with a small patio, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The apartment features beautiful vaulted ceilings, which help keep it cool in the summer and cosy in the winter.
  
  It is located in the heart of Alaior's historic town centre, just a 3-minute walk from our home, on a lively square with trees, cafés, and terraces. Alaior is in the centre of the island, making it the perfect base for exploring Menorca.
  
  for meals, we'd love our Workawayer to prepare and have breakfast at our home with our daughter and join the whole family for lunch from Monday to Friday.
  
  As the help would only be in the mornings, your afternoons and evenings will be completely free. We'll provide all the ingredients you need to prepare your own dinner in the apartment, giving you the flexibility to eat whenever and however you like. If you prefer, you can even pack a picnic or make yourself a sandwich and head to the beach to enjoy the sunset—one of our favourite ways to spend a summer evening in Menorca!
