  We are a family of four (Sabrina, 34, Stefano, 38, Vicky, 4, and Nico, 1). Stefano works with biodynamic foods and is interested in everything to do with gardening, cooking, and trips into nature, preferably in the sunshine. Sabrina works as a school social worker and special needs teacher. She enjoys sewing and crafting and looking after her chickens, which live in the garden, and the family cat. Together, we enjoy spending time outdoors in the garden, in the forest, in the mountains, or by the nearby river.
  We live in Switzerland near the wonderful city of Aarau. Our village has everything we need and is easily accessible by public transportation, allowing us to explore all of Switzerland.
  
  We have been Workaways ourselves and now want to take the opportunity to invite people to our home and bring the world to us. We would especially love to host families :)
  
  Wir sind eine vierköpfige Familie (Sabrina 34, Stefano 38, Vicky 4 und Nico 1 ). Stefano arbeitet mit Biodynamischen Lebensmitteln und interessiert sich für alles rund um den Garten, fürs Kochen und für Ausflüge in der Natur, am liebsten bei Sonnenschein. Sabrina arbeitet als Schulsozialarbeiterin und Heilpädagogin. Sie näht und bastelt gerne und schaut zu ihren Hühnern die im Garten leben oder der Familienkatze. Gemeinsam geniessen wir gerne die Zeit draussen im Garten, im Wald, in den Bergen oder beim nahegelegenen Fluss.
  Wir wohnen in der Schweiz in der Nähe der wunderbaren Stadt Aarau. Unser Dorf hat alles was es braucht und ist gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar so, dass die ganze Schweiz erkundet werden kann.
  
  Wir waren bisher selbst als Workaways unterwegs und möchten nun die Chance nutzen Menschen zu uns einzuladen und die Welt zu uns ins Haus zu holen. Wir würden uns auch freuen wenn Familien zu uns kommen.

  Come and become part of our family. We have many friends and family nearby, and there is so much to discover. Since Stefano is half Greek, we not only enjoy Swiss culture, but also Greek culture, especially in the kitchen.
  
  Komm und werde Teil unserer Familie. Wir haben viele Freunde und Familie in der Nähe und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Da Stefano halber Grieche ist kommt bei uns nicht nur die schweizer Kultur zum Zug sondern besonders in der Küche auch immer wieder die griechische.

  We are looking forward to welcoming workawayers who want to get involved and be part of our family. There are various things you can help with around the house and garden, and it is important that you like children because our two kids are involved in pretty much everything. Especially in spring, we would love to have someone help us in the garden, as we want to tackle various new projects to make our garden even more usable for us. Otherwise, there are also various DIY projects in the house that unfortunately get neglected in our everyday life, and of course, other help with household chores or childcare would be great. So we are sure to find something that suits your skills and wishes. We work on some days, but there is actually always someone at home.
  
  Wir freuen uns auf workawayer die sich bei uns einbringen und Teil unserer Familie sein möchten. Es gibt verschiedenes in Haus und Garten wo du mithelfen kannst und es ist wichtig, dass du Kinder magst denn unsere zwei Kinder sind bei eigentlich allem mit dabei. Besonders im Frühling würden wir uns über jemanden freuen, der uns im Garten hilft, da wir diverse neue Projekte angehen wollen um unseren Garten für uns noch nutzbarer zu machen. Ansonsten gibt es auch diverse DIY Projekte im Haus die bei uns im Alltag leider zu kurz kommen und natürlich sonstige Mithilfe im Haushalt oder in der Kinderbetreuung wäre super. Wir finden also bestimmt etwas, was deinen Fähigkeiten und Wünschen entspricht. Wir arbeiten an manchen Tagen es ist aber eigentlich immer jemand zuhause.

  Wir bringen dir gerne etwas Deutsch oder Schweizerdeutsch bei :). Es wäre allerdings auch praktisch, wenn du vielleicht schon das ein oder andere Wort Deutsch sprichst da die Kinder und unsere Eltern, welche oft da sind um auf die Kinder zu schauen kein Englisch sprechen. We would be happy to teach you some German or Swiss German :). However, it would also be helpful if you already know a few words of German, as the children and our parents, who are often there to look after the children, do not speak English.

  Alojamiento

  We have a beautiful guest room with a large bed (1.60 m) and share the rest of the house with you. Your room is on the ground floor, where you will also find the living room, kitchen, and a toilet. The bathroom and our bedrooms are on the upper floor. We love to cook and eat together :). We do a lot of things together and enjoy it, but of course it is always possible to retreat and have time to yourself. Our house is located in a rather rural village, shopping facilities and public transport are within walking distance, and the nearest town, Aarau, can be reached in 15 minutes by bus, train, or bicycle. We also have an indoor swimming pool in the village, and in summer you can enjoy the outdoor pool or the river, which is a wonderful place to swim.
  
  Wir haben ein schönes Gästezimmer mit einem grossen Bett (1,60m) und teilen den Rest des Hauses mit dir. Dein Zimmer ist im Erdgeschoss wo auch das Wohnzimmer, die Küche und eine Toilette ist. Das Bad und unsere Schlafzimmer sind im oberen Stock. Wir lieben es zu kochen und gemeinsam zu essen :). Wir machen sehr viele Dinge zusammen und geniessen das auch, es ist aber natürlich immer möglich sich auch zurück zu ziehen und Zeit für sich zu haben. Unser Haus befindet sich in einem eher ländlich gelegenen Dorf, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der öffentliche Verkehr sind in kurzer Fussdistanz und die nächste Stadt Aarau ist in 15 Minuten mit dem Bus, dem Zug oder dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Wir haben im Dorf auch ein Hallenbad und im Sommer kann man das Freibad oder den Fluss geniessen, wo man wunderbar baden kann.
