Descripción
We are a family with a girl, a boy, me Silvan and my wife Corinne. We live in a big, old wooden house near Emmental the valley , where the famous cheese Emmentaler" swiss cheese come from.
We have the dream, to live someday from our own ideas, without working outside our little paradise.
Our house is located in the heart of the village, near the train station.
The green hills and the lovely woods are a perfect place to spend some quit days, go for hiking or just watch the lovely view of the swiss alps. We have a vegetal garden, some fruit trees and we try our best to live in harmony with the nature.
We do all of the renovation work by ourself. Perhaps you can inspire us with your ideas or you can support us with your experience.

You can, if you are interest, learn many different crafting skills. How, working with different materials and tools. you will maybe learn new vegan recipes. We will, if we have time and space in the bring you to place from Interests, near were we life. And our kids will bring you to there favorite places in the the village. And of curse you will be a part of our family for the time of stay, and mostly we also stay in contact after the stay.

We would prefer some one who would stay longer, than one month. We are searching a person maybe student ore some one else.
Would you like to Share time with our family, maybe doing lunch or dinner or help small things in household if you like. To do any work is forbidden with out the right visa here in Switzerland. Evan just for food an accommodation.
What we are looking for, is cultural exchange, and practice English, or maybe learn some of your own language.

You can stay in a cozy litle apartment, the size of a camping trailer, with two tiny rooms. In there is space for two people. you can heat the apartment with a woods stove. You're entrance door goes directly outside. from this door is just 5 meters away, (you can walk it under a roof) is a bathroom with shower and toilet.

The house is right behind the lokal train station. All 15 minutes starts a train in direction Luzern or Langenthal. The next town is Huttwil you can hike in less than a hour. You can use our bikes or moppets. There are many nice places you can hike from here. If we have time we would show you some places that you are maybe interested.
We do smoking some times, but just outside the buildings.
The house stands also right behind de church, the ring of the bells would maybe faze you the first time. After a wile you don't notice them.

They were kind and accommodating, not to mention amazing cooks! Their two kids were very sweet, they really made us feel at home.
