  We are a working cocoa plantation in Vanuatu, not a hobby farm. Alongside this, we run a small bnb. We are looking for capable, practical people to work with us and support both the plantation and the accommodation.
  
  This role suits people who enjoy responsibility, hands-on work, and real island living.
  
  What you’ll be doing (based on your skills):
  • Assisting on a working cocoa plantation (planting, harvesting, drying)
  • Supporting bnb operations (cleaning, guest changeovers, light hosting)
  • Cooking if you have the skills
  • Basic maintenance and farm machinery assistance
  • Working alongside local Ni-Vanuatu staff and with us directly
  
  Accommodation & location:
  • Private accommodation for two people
  • Your own space with ocean views
  • Safe water and electricity
  • Close to town
  • Quiet, rural island setting
  
  Who this suits:
  • Practical individuals or couples
  • Farm, hospitality, eco-lodge, or retreat experience valued
  • Comfortable with heat, rain, mosquitoes, and bugs
  • Island living is real, simple, and hands-on
  
  Skills & requirements:
  • Experience in farm work, hospitality, maintenance, or cooking preferred but not required
  • English required; French helpful
  • Able to work independently and take direction
  • Respectful working with local communities
  
  Important to know:
  This is real work in a tropical environment. If you are looking for comfort, nightlife, or a beach holiday, this will not be a good fit as we don’t have nightclubs or bars. The local village is next door and the locals are welcoming and kind. We have safe swimming waters and safe location.
  
  We are looking for people who want to contribute, learn, and be part of a working plantation and small tourism operation.

  Must be able to live off grid, fit and happy to walk swim, confident in boats and enjoy simple lifestyle. Wild foods a plenty and a small town 2km across the bay.
