Pablo was a very reliable workaway volunteer for our ecology site! He was very caring and considerate, took his time to do the tasks with ease and a gentle heart. We enjoyed working with him and was very helpful.

I've spent three weeks with Eva, Holly, Ellen and Ash and truly enjoyed my time in the desert. The arts and ecological site really is a special place. All of them took great care of me and made sure I was feeling comfortable. Ellen, who I mainly worked with, was super flexible when it came to when I wanted to work and we were always able to openly

I stayed here for a month and a half and learned a ton about desert permaculture. Eva and everyone there were very accommodating. I had some cool unique experiences here for sure.

Eva is such an inspiring person, full of life and energy and always making sure everyone feels at home. My tasks were mainly helping in the kitchen and with composting, and other volunteers had different tasks. I was a digital nomad and she was very accommodating with my schedule:

I had the opportunity to spend a whole month working, living, and enjoying this amazing space Eva has created. My first two weeks I spent mostly on my own to avoid any possibility of spreading the virus. In this time I was able to become connected with the land and form a rhythm when it came to work and free time. You have the freedom to set your

Once the two weeks were up, Eva and I spent a lot of time together, we had a blast. She took me to an amazing outdoor concert venue 3 weekends in a row where we got to enjoy the stars, socially distanced company of others, and of course live music. I always looked forward to Sunday's because that's when she would cook us a great dinner! We shared stories and passions, even one night we watched a meteor shower on her outside mattress while eating popcorn! I will never forget my time spent here and I'm already planning my return. I recommend you make the trip out to Joshua Tree, you won't regret it. Thank you again so much Eva. -HannaSolo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

We stayed for four weeks working on a variety of projects including the building of an Earthbag retaining wall, learning new skills through the incredible people who led the projects. Eva is a knowledgeable and generous host who welcomed us into her space and was a wonderful resource for connecting us to the area. We’re grateful for our experience

I had such a wonderful time staying with Eva! This place is full of love and good intention. The atmosphere was very welcoming and full of warmth, me and the other volunteers felt at home pretty much right away.
We stayed in comfortable trailers on Eva's beautiful property, surrounded by uplifting art, a greenhouse, a composting toilet and a

My job was to work in the garden a bit, and to make preparations for an amazing music event. I had a lot of fun doing it, and I felt like all my work was truly appreciated. Most of the time, I only worked in the morning and evening, because the desert was too hot mid-day. During that time, I would usually hike to the park (5 minutes,) find a place in the shade, and enjoy the wonder of the site.
I am a 100% sure I will come back here when I return to the west coast. Thank you so much Eva and everybody! I will miss you.Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

Anna,
It was a pleasure hosting you and having you help out at our site. I'm glad that you feel you weren't overworked because everything you did was such a big help. You are smart, flexible and cooperative which was wonderful for us in preparing for our concert event and permaculture design weekend. We hope to see you back again! And thank you

I spent 2 weeks here helping with preparation for a concert and then for a permaculture course. The work wasn't hard and for the most part I felt more like an artist in residence than a workawayer, I had plenty of time for my photography and for exploring the desert (the site is literally 10 mins on foot from the park!). Eva is one of the most

This is a good place to learn about the desert and permaculture gardening, also to soak in artistic atmosphere, having a car is recommended but not necessary - public transportation is pretty reliable. I'm truly grateful for the time I spent in Joshua Tree and can highly recommend volunteering at Eva's place.Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

I was one of the first group of workawayers and spent two wonderful weeks here. The house is a magical, creative place that attracts the best kinds of people. Eva and Dominique are both kind, dedicated, and open-minded people who care so much about the community and environment. I mostly worked with Dominique, who is one of the most selfless and

I also helped the kitchen staff during the big art and music event that was held in honor of the founder's 100th birthday. The work was often hard, especially in the desert heat, but rewarding. I felt like everything I did benefitted the community and was appreciated. The time I spent here was meaningful and I will not soon forget the kindness and sense of community I felt while I was there.Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.
