I beleive each experience can be diferent but for my personal experience,I cannot recommend.

Anthony et Amélie sont des personnes très agréables ayant le sens de l'hospitalité, toujours prêts à rendre service. Ils nous ont accueilli dans leur jolie maison et nous avons été touchées de la confiance qu'ils nous ont tous deux accordée.
Ils se sont montrés très arrangeants et nous ont permis de travailler aux horaires que nous voulions.

I had an amazing time in Anthony and Amelie's house. Anthony was always kind and and clear with expectations. During the same period I stay, another girl from Italy was there and we had a really great time exchanging cultures and preparing food.

I spent two weeks with Anthony and Amelie at the end of September (2022). This was my first workaway experience and my first time travelling alone and I think I was very lucky to have such wonderful hosts and beautiful place to stay.
I stayed in a wooden dome structure Anthony had built which was very spacious and cosy. I spent my working hours
… read more sanding their terrace area then applying varnish, tending to their garden, crushing grapes for wine and feeding their animals. A lot of the work was quite physical but Anthony made sure I was comfortable with all the tasks I was given. He was also very trusting, allowing me to work at whatever time suited me best to avoid the heat as long as I completed my 5 hours.
Anthony and Amelie were both very welcoming and friendly, they invited me to diner with their friends, to the local market and also helped me with travelling to Seville for the weekend. They provided meals but also allowed me to use their kitchen when I liked and made it clear when we were not going to be eating together.

I have been in Anthony and Amélie's place for about two weeks (December 2021). … read more has been very nice. The accomodation was the best. Anthony and Amélie likes to stay on their own by the evening and night so if you join them do not expect to spend 100% of your time all together, that btw I think is the best solution as well. Anyway we had many social nights, we visited friends of them, and they always invited me when having dinner or a party in their house or in friends houses. I came with my boyfriend Lucas to Anthony and Amelie's house during one week at the end of July. We were travelling with our Van so it was easy for us to enjoy our free time around and to reach their home.

… read more cooler during nights. The outside shower is amazing and the swimming pool is very well welcome after work. A bit difficult sometimes to walk along the paths and cook without light.
We worked from 7:30am to 1pm. It was sometimes physical work but I really enjoyed it. They shared their knowledge about eco-construction. I painted walls with chaux, protected trees against furious George, helped with the horses of the neigbourgh, looked for and try to do natural clothes washing liquid. It was very interesting.
Anthony and Amelie were very friendly, thoughtfull and cheerfull. Both of them are also amazing cookers! It was nice to spend time to talk altogether during lunch time.

We spent a month at the Finca, Anthony and Amélie were really nice with us and helped us to enjoy malaga and other places to visit like Granada and Cordoba. We had great moments with them and the other workawayers, Anthony and Amélie are amazing cooks by the way !
About the accommodations, the tents are large and comfortables (we had a tent for
… read more us two) and the outdoor shower is lovely in summer. The kitchen was missing some equipments but Anthony did all the best to improve it during the stay and now it is way better. Last but not least, the swimming pool is a real heaven in the heat of Andalucia.
The tasks are physical and the heat makes them harder but we can adapt the hours to work more in the cooler temperatures. But if you are more thinking of a workaway as a holiday, keep in mind that here you will do actual work and maybe also workout, you will also wake up in the morning ;)
But if you are ok with this, helping Anthony is really interesting, it allows you to discover building techniques and to participate in a nice project.
Finally, we visited the area during the weekend, Antony dropped us in the train station and everything is accessible with blablacar. We went in Granada and Cordoba which are two amazing cities in 2 hours of car. Anthony and Amélie gave us good advices about places to visit and delicious restaurants.
Overall we have some fantastic memories of this stay and we had a wonderful time helping Anthony and Amélie.
We look forward to come as guests when the place will be all finished and beautiful.

We had spent 2 weeks with Anthony and the other volunteers at the site. They are at the beginning of making this dream of an ecolodge come true. … read more hugelkultur garden bed, collecting bamboos and painting wood needed for construction. There were always one person taking care of the house and preparing food for all of us. The 4 young and enthusiastic French people and us created a nice team, and made working easy and fun. In the evenings we played games, on the weekends we went on excursions. Anthony was a nice leader of the team, he was always clearly telling what to do, with keeping in mind the capabilities and preferences of everyone and giving place for our own creativity.
