From 10 November to 15 December we are looking for a person or couple to help with tidying and organising the vegetable garden, the garden and some rooms in the house. If you like to do this, we are waiting for you!! ;-))))
Hi! We are Emanuela (Italian 1970) and Peter (Swiss 1966)... and Nespolo and Mora (our cats).
In 2019 Peter and I bought a beautiful little stone house (which is about 150 years old) and a small piece of land (500sqm) in the beautiful town of Montecrestese.
The intention was and is, to live more soberly, to use our hands to create and self-produce (part of) what we need, to value relationships and exchange with people and with the wonderful Nature that surrounds us ... to try to be more and more independent from an economic, cultural and social system in which we do not recognize ourselves. But above all to participate consciously in Life.
This was our dream. We had to make some (or many) adjustments to our "vision", because things don't always work out the way we want them to. The most important thing I have learned is not to feel guilty and to appreciate what I have, and what I could do. Sometimes I forget how lucky I have been and I am.
What can you learn from us ?
You can learn the way we have chosen to live, see its merits and demerits, successes and failures ... Perhaps to better understand how you would like to live.
Life is movement and fluidity. ☀️
What do we expect from you?
Help and sharing in all activities: home and garden tidying and cleaning, gardening, harvesting, food transformation, reorganizing spaces, choping wood, feeding and playing with cats ... and playing board games! (we love them :)
What you will find.
Moments of tranquility and beauty.
Lots of places to explore or "meditate."
Neighbors project of younger people.
Please note: I work from Monday till Friday from 9.30am till 2.30pm . Peter works from October till June in Bern, CH. So during these months he is mostly in Bern.

You can explore our fantastic village landscape!
For me, Montecrestese is truly fascinating and has a sacred and powerful energy.
From our house you can take beautiful hikes from 1h to 8h.
You can lern Italiano (Peter wants lern italiano, too! ) or Deutsche (I want lern deutsche, too).
If you like, we can cook togheter some special Italian dishes.

Ayuda
We Expect 24 hours per week.
Manual tasks or garden skills will be really appreciate 😄.
The main help Is in the Garden: weeding, planting. watering. etc. But also places cleaning and tidying up.
Preparing food and daily-standard cleaning (washing dishes, broom the flor) are not included in this 24 hours. they will be on rotation.

Our place is 12 minutes by car from Domodossola train station (we Will come to take you up at your arrivai).
Domodossola station is 1h40 by train from Milano (Italy) and 1h40 by train from Bern (CH).
Malpensa airport is about 1h by train or bus.
What to see: our village!! Montecrestese.

If you have a car there are nice Mountains anc lakes to Explore .
Lakes: lago Orta, lago Maggiore, lago Antrona.
Alps: Alpe Devero and Alpe Veglia,
The wild "Val Grande".
I love dancing, especially FOLK . If you are curious about it, I go every Wednesday evening. You can try! It Is Easy and funny.

I help in the house with painting and in the garden. It is a really beautiful house and i can just recommend for everyone. ;)
She worked hard with Joy and Power. And We had a lot of Fun with her and Sigrid (the other helper) both during the jobs and the evening games.
