I live on the beautiful kapiti coast. 40 min by train or car to Wellington. I have a well equipped workshop and craft room. I have a 3 bedroom cottage.
Short walk to the coastlands shopping Centre.
I have an old dog charlie ( maltese shitzu).
What i need help with is general maintenace and gardens at this stage.

I stayed with Alison for two weeks. It was an wonderful stay. Working three days a week leaves you entire days to explore Paraparaumu and around. Wellington is very close by car or train.
The work was fair, I did most of it with Alison but when she wasn't there, her directions for what I had to do were very clear.

Spending the past two weeks with Alison have been an enlightening experience on so many levels. I had great moments in this beautiful and calm place, where you can find a amazing Workshop with many tools in it. She never made me feel like a worker but part of the family !!

The experience Alison's home was very positive. We work 3 days a week and 4 days off, so we had a lot of free time to do other things.
Alison is a very busy woman, so she gives you a lot of freedom to get in and out of her house. She made us feel at home. The meals were alright.

We stayed at Alison's place for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our stay. The rainy movie afternoons with popcorn were nice and we felt really welcomed in her house. He worked hard and was eager to try any work I offered. Very personable and fitted in well with my situation and with any other Workaways that were there He stayed 5 weeks in the end to help complete the work I had. I’d have him back any day

Alison was the perfect host for our first workaway experience, she is very friendly and gave us many advices. the jobs were easy and thanks to her , we have met a lot of people. her dog Charlie is lovely . we definitely recommend Alison as host, we will miss her a lot!!!

They were a wonderful couple. They worked hard at anything I through at them. We used a jack hammer, shifted pavers and trailer loads of pumice, painted fences, cleaned and sanded interior for painting and removed staples from walls for hours.
