I love this peaceful rural land surrounded by trees . Perfect for camping, having bonfire, outdoor cooking, yoga , meditation, other mindful /holistic practices!
My husband Paul and I are welcoming like minded travellers to spend slow paced rural life. We welcome mindful people who likes nature and people.
We need help with gardening, field tasks, cleaning , art projects and so on. Tell me your gifts and we can come up with how you may be able to help us on this land .
👩🌾 Regenerative Natural Farming and Permaculture Gardens
We are beginner gardeners inspired by Permaculture living and Japanese natural farming method . We like to grow food while beinh gentle to mother Earth.
We are seeking folks with Permaculture/ Organic farm volunteering experience to share your skills and experiences. Beginners are welcome too we can learn together!
🛖Yurt Project
We have a traditional Mongolian Yurt to be set up. It involves carrying materials for assembly. Yurt is like a big tent. If you don't know what a Mongolian yurt is please look up. It's a movable tent housing.
⚒️Home tasks and cleaning :
Our home is an old farm house - We always appreciate your hands with cleaning, polishing , and fix things. I have a never ending with list to love and take care of this house 🌼
🎨Art & Home Decorations
We welcome artists.
I'm always looking for ideas to make the house pretty and homy.
This summer I'm going to try plant dye / flower printing
👥Volunteering opportunities at local community:
I can connect you to local volunteering opportunities if you feel like meeting local people and contribute to the community. In the past I hosted Japanese cultural workshops such as calligraphy , how to use chopsticks, Origami paper holdings. If you want to share your culture I can host such event.
Roommate: We have a room mate who is very quiet , interested in Japanese language and loves playing video games .

This is a place in rual Ontario, you can experience how a small town is like here. We like having bonfire, BBQ, sit around the fire . We eat outside everyday in summer, you are welcome to join us. there are lots of wildlife - birds, deer, coyotes, butterflies...

We are in the rural country. We finally have a finer internet. Cellphone reception is bad here. You need to step outside for a phone call. I check and respond to workaway messages once or twice /week.

We have a space to park but there is no electricity in the camping area to hook up RVs. Please inquire about motor homes.
