We live and work with vulnerable community members supported through nonprofit agency called VON (Von.ca) . Their policy has recently changed and ALL overnight guests MUST sign the form and approved by VON BEFORE arrival.

My husband Paul and I are welcoming like minded travellers to spend slow paced rural life. We welcome mindful people who likes nature and people.
We need help with gardening, field tasks, cleaning , art projects and so on. Tell me your gifts and we can come up with how you may be able to help us on this land .
Winter months help in 2026/2027:
Paul will be your host as Aya will be away travelling during the winter month.
Come and have a quiet life in the Southwest Ontario.
Summer:
I love this peaceful rural land surrounded by trees . Perfect for camping, having bonfire, outdoor cooking, yoga , meditation, other mindful /holistic practices!
Regenerative Natural Farming and Permaculture Gardens
We are beginner gardeners inspired by Permaculture living and Japanese natural farming method . We like to grow food while beinh gentle to mother Earth.
We are seeking folks with Permaculture/ Organic farm volunteering experience to share your skills and experiences. Beginners are welcome too we can learn together!
Roommate: We have a room mate who is very quiet , interested in Japanese language and loves playing video games . -

This is a place in rual Ontario, you can experience how a small town is like here. We like having bonfire, BBQ, sit around the fire . We eat outside everyday in summer, you are welcome to join us. there are lots of wildlife - birds, deer, coyotes, butterflies...
🛶Fun and sightseeing🚗
There are great spots and hidden gems to visit. Organic blueberry picking, Kayaking, evening concerts, night out in London (big city) for a standup comedy, Great lake beaches , historical sites , markets.

I'm Japanese and I can share Japanese culture. I cook mostly asian food.Paul lived,in Japan for many years , he speaks Japanese and has experience teaching English.

Ayuda
In winter months :
Paul works full time and you will be home alone while everyone is working. Help I ask is house keeping ( cleaning and prepare meals) , shovelling snow and house sitting.

Shared kitchen, bathroom, drinking water available from the house.
Food : Staples such as rice, bread, vegetables are provided for you to cook. We are mostly plant based and eat meat once a week or less. If you are meat lover, please provide your own meat .
If you like cooking, cooking family meals may be one of your work. Shared fridge is available.
Car: We have a car you may be able to use it. Only for experienced and confident drivers with travel insurance. -

We have reliable fibre optic internet wifi. Cellphone reception is bad here. You need to step outside for a phone call. I check and respond to workaway messages once or twice /week.

We have a space to park but there is no electricity in the camping area to hook up RVs. Please inquire about motor homes.
