  My name is Erica, I am an independent game developer and musician living in Szentendre, Hungary with my transgender partner, Cameron, and our two cats, Haruspex and Bachelor. As American expats we are very outgoing and love meeting new people from other cultures! We are very LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse friendly.
  
  Szentendre is a beautiful town of cobbled stress and old churches. Originally an artist colony, you will love the relaxed vibe of local cafes and quaint shops. Our flat provides easy access to Budapest, via the HEV suburban railway line. A bike path along the Danube also provides a scenic alternative into the city.

  My partner and I have been living in Hungary now for over two years so we know many of the local places off the tourist tracks. As a folk musician I have been learning Hungarian folk singing. My partner plays cello and we also have a Hurdy Gurdy! As video game developers, we are always working on a variety of projects, so if you have any interest in recording music that would be cool! Lastly, I am also a science fiction writer and have been active in several creative writing meetups in the city if that is something that interests you.
  
  I would love for expats from other cultures to stay, but local Hungarians would be good too! I could really use help learning more hungarian so language exchange is a priority for me.

  My partner is scheduled for surgery in May/June (🏳️‍⚧️🥳) and I could use help with general flat upkeep while she is gone. I am AuDHD (autistic + ADHD) and it can be a bit difficult to handle chores, shopping, and admin without my partner. I mainly could use help caring for our cats, one of which is senior with Chronic kidney disease, the other a recently resocialized rescue.
  
  I am not expecting the tasks to be intensive or take up all your time, so you would have plenty of time to explore. I wouldn't mind even showing you around! I have been a workawayer myself and would love language exchange - I speak english and I am learning Hungarian! I also play harp and folk singing, so musicians to jam with would be wonderful! Overall I would love to make new friends more than anything.

  Alojamiento

  You would have your own bedroom (as shown in the pictures) with a locking door and access to a shared living room space, bathroom, and kitchen. The space has a desk for working and a window with wonderful sunset views.
  
  I might be able to provide some assistance with groceries and I would be OK with you using the kitchen as long as you tidy up after yourself! I do have several food allergies and sensitivities so I would have to ask you to refrain from cooking with onions/garlic or anything especially pungent. Both my partner and I are GF and would prefer you be too!
  
  You would have you own set of keys for the front door and external gate to come and go as you please. There are bikes for use, but also several grocery stores including a bio/organic shop a few hundred meters down the road. If you don't get enough love from Haruspex and Bachelor, there are no less than four additional cats that share the space in front of our flat. 🥰

  As I am autistic, I do try to keep the flat tidy and reduce visual clutter. I would prefer someone responsible and mature. Due to allergies we cannot under ANY circumstances host smokers! Thanks!

  Haruspex

  Haruspex is a rescue cat from Los Angeles, CA. She is 15 years old and has stage 3 chronic kidney disease. We have been able to manage her condition with use of a food supplement called Porus One that she gets in her food each morning. Additionally she recieves Sub Q fluids everything few days.
