Finally I write this review! I have been at Ben's in august 2019 and spent there about two weeks. I wanted to stay more, but work called!
I had a great experience in his farm, learning a bunch of things. He was organizing a field of Macadamia and he needed to plant specific plants to fix hydrogen: I learnt how to properly plant a tree, didn't know

He also took me to visit a giant macadamia and citrus nursery just close to his place: here they showed me the art of grafting and we bought trees to plant in the farm.
I think this is the place in Australia where I eat better: fruits and veggies taste really fruits and veggies!
Ben take care of everything in the farm, he teach in a school and he have a relly nice kid, Archie who will be at the farm some days, so he is quite busy, but he organize your work, when he is not at home, in the way you can be indipendent: it was great to be sometimes alone over there, nature is amazing and in the farm you always have somenthing to discover or have a walk with his dog Bunny (I hope I remeber his right name!): he will show you all the property again!
The accomodation was in a caravan in a macadamia field: comfy and bucolico!
I really had some good inspiration from this experience and from the chats I had with Ben, precious for starting my own place here in Italy.
It was also great that Ben allowed me to bring a friend of mine that I knew he would love that place! Infact, my friend stayed there more than me and he also brought up a friend of him too!
Definitely my experience at Ben's was great: his way to think agricolture and our role in the nature is fascinating, I suggest to go up there and discover by your own.

Lola recently stayed with us for 3-4 weeks, she was just awesome to have around. Able to work independently and went above and beyond to get stuff done. She took on things as if they were her own, really great help in the garden, kitchen and workshop. My 2 year old son Archie loved having her around too. Her English is pretty much perfect so

Antonio and Alessia were only here for a week but they showed a huge amount of enthusiasm and worked very hard on the property. They were up for anything and fitted right in, and we shared some great meals in the week they were here. All the best on your travels!

Our experience in this place was over ours expectations, we really liked all of this place.
Ben is a good guy that will explain you all the thing that you will have to do. The work was very interesting and rewarding. We planted ginger and citrus trees, sorted macadamia nuts, whipper snipper, pruning, helped digging a hole for the water system. We
… read more can say that despite we stayed not so much days we learned new and interesting things.
Our accomodation was a caravan located close to the macadamia trees. The food was amazing. Fruits and vegetables are very fresh and tasty and Ben is a really good cook.
Ben also helped us with a minor problem of our car.
We definitely recommend this place if you like staying in the middle of the nature and fresh and healthy food.

This was my first workaway experience and it was simply amazing! Four weeks just swept pass when I was staying with Helen, Ben and little Archy.
