I have recently moved into a lovely little 3 bedroom cottage on a 880 sq mtr section in Tokoroa.
I have 2 gorgeous dogs who just love visitors!! So you must love dogs as they will want you to become your new best friends from the moment you arrive.
I have 4 raised vegetable gardens and would like to plant several fruit trees and do some serious landscaping so could do with some help!!
In exchange for food and board I expect you to work about 20 hrs a week. I normally get my volunteers to work from about 9am to 1pm each day but this is totally negotiable.
Most of the sights in our area are close enough to enjoy on your afternoons off after lunch but happy to negotiate the hours so you can work a full day and enjoy the following day off! 👍
I am also going away for the month of May and am looking for house/dog sitters for this period. You will need to give the dogs at least an hour off leash walk every day, cuddle and play with them lots and feed them twice a day. You will also need to tend to the vege gardens, water my outdoor and indoor pot plants, keep the lawns mowed and the house clean and tidy. ☺️🐾🐾

I facilitate a weekly Mind, Body and Soul dance class which you are welcome to join.
I also love painting rocks and doing crochet and will be happy to teach you how to do either or both while you are here.

Alojamiento
You will be provided with your own bedroom with king single sized bed if you are single and a queen bed if you are a couple. You will need to share the bathroom with your host.
I expect you to share all meals with me and socialize with me in the evenings i.e. play cards or watch a movie. I would love it if you cooked me a traditional meal from your country during your stay and would appreciate help with dishes and kitchen clean up every evening. I totally expect you to keep your bedroom, the bathroom and shared areas in the house clean and tidy.

You will need your own transport if you wish to explore the surrounding area on your time off
The town centre is walkable from my property and will take you about 15 to 20min walk.
Tokoroa is within an hours drive from Taupo & Rotorua and just over an hour to Tauranga and Hamilton so super central!!
