We are a young community and family project that aims to create a non-profit healing biotope on a former almond plantation. The healing aspect is focused on offering affordable yoga retreats, but covers a wide range of alternative approaches for a holistic healing process. The healing mission is also applied to the land that the community has taken stewardship of. We are still in the process of an inheritance process which will require lots of funds and we are building a crowdfunding campaign to help us build this project further, therefore we need support in many ways to be able to establish a community. The almond plantation is intended to be transformed into a diverse and functioning ecosystem through various restoration techniques.
With the help of volunteers, friends and collaborators can we develop towards a thriving community project. To ensure that our Permaculture garden is flourishing and the retreat center can be established, we constantly evaluate our needs for helping hands depending on the expertise and our ongoing projects on the land. As well we have a cute toddler on the farm we need support with, so we can further develop the project without being overly exhausted.
Sharing mutual values and goals with the people who support us is very important to us. We encourage self-responsibility and self-reflection and practice sharing circles in order to be able to communicate openly and transparently. We follow a non-harm approach that ensures we meet each other with compassion instead of judgment.
