I am 60 years old, have lived and worked in many trades around the coast - logging, commercial fishboat owner, carpenter, demolition expert, currently am in the business of relocating buildings (house mover). I am an imagineer, have endless plans, and the land materials and wherewithal to manifest them.This property is not yet off grid but that is coming soon. We have large gardens, water storage systems, grey water recycling and wood heat, - oh yeah, there is always fire wood to cut and split! then at the end of the day we have locally raised food, a bottle of my home made wine and some of my home grown green...

I am a reniasance man and have a grand array of skills and trades to share with the right persons. This is a wonderful island community of artists and back to the landers, There are many opportunities to meet other interesting humans here.

This house was built in victoria b.c. in 1950. In 1993 I moved it by barge to 10 acres on beautiful denman island, it is still a work in progress in many ways. There are plenty of details to be finished, involving carpentry, plaster and mosiac work, painting cleaning and generally helping to finish restoration of this fairy tale home.

My place is surrounded by 400 acres of old growth forested park land and miles of remote beaches with whales, sea lions, eagles and lots of oysters clams and fishes.I hope to find someone who has rudimentary work skills in construction/renovation/finishing of unique old houses, and who will fit in to our quirky artistic community...
