  Malaysian boarders are finally open in April 2022, since the pandemic. We have not host any volunteers for a while. But now we are in need of committed and dedicated volunteers who would like to help and make a difference in their lives and others

  Yup, that sound cliche, but its the true fact. We have run this program for a few years and have met very few people who meant what they say, and say what they meant ! Profile can be deceiving.
  
  If you want to find who you are, this is the place for you . It teaches you love, compassion and empower your mind. Not
  for the weak hearted and mind. Definitely NOT for non-animal lover. If you complain of the noise, the smell, dusts, the dogs jumping on you, hot weather. Please don't message us.
  
  If you are not independent and need us to do everything for you, please don't message us. You are here to help, not to give us more work.
  
  We can guarantee you will enjoy your time with us and discover yourself. If the animals comes first, and you second! Vegan or otherwise, you are welcome to experience this journey with us.
  
  
  We are is a vegan -run Animal Sanctuary, a home for 500 animals. Dogs, cats, a goat, sheeps chickens, rabbits, goose and ducks.
  
  Located in Kundang, Selangor Malaysia -a quite small town 30 min away from City Centre. Build on a 1.8 acre land.
  
  A perfect getaway for animal lover who wants to spend quality times helping animals, away from the hustle and bustle of the City and experience the laidback rural life, to experience how the local lives.
  
  Our Sanctuary Manager, was travelling from UK and was volunteering throughout Asia herself, when she fell in love with the Sanctuary and decided to make this place her last stop, her home. Having many years experience working with animals, horses, dogs, cats, reptiles etc you will learn with one of the best 'guru'. She was also an animal advocate during her days back in UK, hence,with her experience we hope to achieve the standard of caring that we strive for and to set an example in Malaysia. Quality of lives is the most important, here, at the Sanctuary for our dear babies. Making sure they have full tummy, comfortable roof, ample exercise and loads of love !
  
  Our mission is to alleviate sufferings and we are against any form of animal abuse. If you could extend your love & compassion beyond dogs and cats, will be an advantage. Otherwise, its still ok because we will introduce you to our goat, chickens, geese, ducks, rabbits and sheeps and other critters here and hope to spread the love & understanding.
  
  Volunteering here, if for those who are willing to come out of their comfort zone. It is a Farm living, not a walk at the beach or a hotel which provides hospitality or room service. Why volunteers are needed? To reduce the burden & work . So if you are up to it, yes, we welcome you.
  
  As it will take time to train you to familiarize with the job and getting to know the animals, we require (for now) min 3 months volunteering.

  Learn up close and personal handling farm animals as well as dogs and cats - basic medical care. And enjoy the Sanctuary itself- greens, space and the warm weather.

  General cleaning of enclosures of dogs and/or the Cattery. Bathing of dogs, nail clipping, ear cleaning, laundry Play time with both, of course. Take Noah the goat and turkeys for their playtime.

  Basic room with single bed, fan, a common toilet and kitchen for cooking. Small fridge to store your groceries. No meat, dairy and egg is allowed at cooking area (for human consumption), in due respect of our vegan lifestyle.

  On the off days, volunteers go up for city sight seeing, etc. Trains, Uber, Grabcar etc are easily accessible from where we are. The Sanctuary is 30 min (by car) from the city center, from all the tourist attractions. Travelling is made easy by MRT, KOMUTER train. Please get a local sim card or data to have the app. There is only 1 care taker caring for 500 animals, our time is very limited but we will try to assist the volunteers in any way.
  
  We are a back-to-basic Sanctuary, its a home for this animals and we the caretaker share their home. As we try to maintain the cleanliness, we can avoid the smell and furs. Being in the rural area you will encounter many insects and nature sounds. It is very common to have rat in your room, so we you will have to share your room with a cat to deter the rat.
  
  This place is for those, with genuine intention to work with animals and gain experience in one of the best sanctuaries in Malaysia not for the prince and princess type, to be precise.
  
  Only if you are willing to get down and dirty, explore a whole new 'world' and give back to the community .
