Descripción
Must love dogs! We currently have 1, (however we often foster so that may change). We are a friendly, easy-going Canadian/English couple who live on the edge of Ku Ring Gai National Park with a stunning bush aspect and are looking for assistance to maintain our home/garden, which includes a bush garden to encourage the native wildlife. Carpentry/gardening skills are of the most interest to us at the moment. Caring for the dogs is still of the highest importance.
We have a swimming pool (unheated) available for you to use during your time off and access to hundreds of kilometres of bush trails on our doorstep. Easy access to Sydney City and all it has to offer! We love to cook, bushwalk, and take part in all that Sydney has to offer.

We enjoy having people from other countries stay and are happy to teach different skills. You will gain experience in caring for animals. We also can show you how to make cheeses, salami, and jams. We live in a beautiful region of Sydney, close to national parks and beaches. You can travel to Sydney city by train and take the ferries to different parts of Sydney or use us as a base and travel to different parts of Australia on your days off. We frequently meet up with family and friends, where you would be very welcome, allowing you to immerse yourself in Australian culture.

We are looking for help with the general upkeep of the property. We are keen to put in a vegetable garden and some fruit trees. Must be comfortable around dogs - we currently have 3, however we often foster so that may change !
* Please note that we have an absolutely no smoking policy. Visitors discovered smoking will be asked to leave.

Alojamiento
Depending on space available;
You will have your own room with 2 single beds, (designed to be put together to make a king size bed), and a sofa. The bathroom is also on the same floor, which is not on the same floor as the rest of the living areas , which provides some privacy.
The second room has a very comfortable sofa bed with its own TV, as well as easy access to the family bathroom.
The Internet is provided and is accessible throughout the house.
Evening meals will be provided with the family. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, but on a self-serve basis.

A campervan/motorhome can be parked at the top of the driveway/in the cul-de-sac during your stay. We do have accommodation available in the house.
