Descripción
I am the original crazy cat lady who has run a rescue for over 25 years. Recently closing a famous cat cafe. Our magnificent 110 year old Queenslander house is also a cat shelter with large enclosed decks, verandas and yards. The volunteer's room is large with a 4 poster double bed, a fridge, roll top desk and drawers. A bathroom to yourselves (except for the occasional visitor who would use the toilet). Large country style kitchen shared with myself.
Paddington is a very green and hilly area, very close to the city. 20 mins walk or 5-7 to drive. It is a café and restaurant hot spot with lots of speciality shops. The views to the city and mountains are spectacular.. We have an abundance of wildlife in the area and 'the locals' come for food at our house. We feed the possums and birds.
We are a smoke free and drug fee household. Vegetarian and vegan friendly.

Alojamiento
Own double bedroom with double bed, fridge/freezer, TV, Airconditioning, fan, desk and drawers.
All linen and towels provided. High speed (for Australia) internet. You will have the use of the kitchen and all utensils.
Food is not provided but we often share meals or have 'family dinners'

There is so much to do locally or close to Brisbane. We have abundant parklands and bush walks. Buses are close by and it only takes 8 minutes on one to get to the city.
