Descripción
We, Deina and Giorgio are living in a sweet house in the countryside, i am working in village near by as secretary as second job .
Me, Deina, have studied cultural anthropology and i like to learn languages and culture. I am shiatsu therapist.
Giorgio is a professional musician of traditional sicilian music. He is a passionate supporter of sicilian traditions and culture.
We take part in the non violence association L'Arche founded by Lanza del Vasto and love the permaculture siclian moviment.
We take part of scout world (Pfadfinder) :-)
We need help in the land , and in this period untill April Giorgio needs a big help with pruning the trees. We are also preparing a new fields.
We have olives, almonds and prickly pears and we need always help in the garden.
Help with housework is also welcome: Dish washing, cooking (if you like), vacuum & dust cleaning
My son (10 years old) will be happy about playing with him,learn English and maybe babysitting will be needed, but it is not obligatory. on the weekend my son is at his fathers house.

We, Deina and Giorgio are living in a sweet house in the countriside, i am working in village near by as secretary as second job 3 times a week. We have olives, almonds and prickly pears and we need always help in the garden:
- collect wood all around the Land and organize a woodshed (jan, feb, mar, apr)
- olives picking (nov, dec, jan)
- help during the pruning of the olive trees (jan)
- realize the vegetable garden (jan, feb, mar)
- rubbish (plastic) collecting of the land/ cleaning up (all times)
- DIY-Projects in the wintergarten/ glasshouse
- DIY-Projects in the land (up to you)
- House sitting

Alojamiento
We offer a little but sweet private room in our house, with modern common bathroom (look at the photos on the profile). :-)
All the waters flow into the land so please don't bring soaps, toothpaste and chemical products that are not biodegradable.
we suggest our place to people who love quite and sometimes it could be possibile to stay alone in the country side (when we have to do stuff in our daily life, even out of the land). If you have your own car, you are free to go anywhere. Otherwise i can take you to the metro/ bus stop, depending from my working times and time table etc.
Note that there is limited to no public transportation on Sunday and on Saturday and that we can't come to pick you up in Catania (airport nor city center).
The house is almost 5 minute by car from the nearest village.
we also love funny evenings with our friends, eating dinner together & playing cards or making music.
We don't like rave party , drugs or big and loudly events.
Once you commit we expect you to come... it causes us a lot of difficulties when someone doesn’t show up. So please be transparent, let us know if you are not sure

They were very helpful for everything to getting started from the farmwork: strongs harms ,willpower and good skills in woodworks . Their stay was very precious, we have done a lots of important works.🤸
