I am Carole, an organic gardener for 10 years now. I benefit from the help of my family to produce a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, fine herbs, etc. My educational farm welcomes school children to teach them how to grow vegetables organically, how to harvest them, and cook them.
If you want to discover how vegetables grow, don't hesitate to come too.
The activity for this large garden is to sow, plant, weed, harvest and wash the vegetables.
Workawayers will only be helping around private home or garden.
We created two apartments in the straw/wood frame building:
one for our family upstairs with our three children (20, 16 and 9 years old) and the other to accommodate the helpers and interns on the ground floor. This allows us to eat with the field team at lunchtime and have free time in the evening for our children. Assistants can also experience special moments together to create great friendships and good memories! in summer, accommodation can also be provided in a caravan or tent. In the apartment you will find 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, kitchen and living room with a cozy wood fire in winter. In summer, a swimming pool is now ready for you.
We have three donkeys with whom we prepare the soil and weed the crops. a tractor maintains uncultivated areas.
We have greenhouses. Assistants say the work is quite varied.
We are located on three hectares of land in a green landscape, facing south. It is a fairly touristy area with numerous leisure centers (3 km away), swimming pond, swimming pool with sauna and hammam, bowling and bar, dance evenings in summer, Ste Croix animal park... etc. . Possibilities for walks with our donkeys. bicycles are also available for shopping in Sarrebourg if necessary (4km) or for walks in nature. Table football, ping-pong and board games available.
It is also possible to learn the French language here.
If you have a nice dog with farm cats, you are welcome. we are looking for friends for our dog Leonberger Raja. she is 4 years old.
Je suis Carole, jardinière bio depuis maintenant 10 ans. Je bénéficie de l'aide de ma famille pour produire une grande variété de fruits et légumes, fines herbes,..Ma ferme pédagogique accueille des enfants des écoles pour leur transmettre comment faire pousser des légumes en agriculture biologique, comment les récolter, les cuisiner.
Si vous avez envie de découvrir comment poussent les légumes, n'hésitez pas à venir vous aussi.
L’activité pour ce grand jardin est de semer, planter, désherber, récolter et laver les légumes.
Nous avons créé deux appartements dans la maison paille/ossature bois :
une pour notre famille à l'étage avec nos trois enfants (20, 16 et97 ans) et l'autre pour accueillir les aides et stagiaires au rez-de-chaussée. Cela nous permet de manger avec l'équipe de terrain le midi et de disposer de temps libre le soir pour nos enfants. Les assistants peuvent aussi vivre des moments privilégiés ensemble pour créer de belles amitiés et de bons souvenirs ! en été, l'hébergement peut également se faire en caravane ou en tente. Dans l'appartement, vous trouverez 1 salle de bain avec douche, WC, cuisine et salon avec un feu de bois agréable en hiver. En été, une piscine est désormais prête pour vous.
Nous avons trois ânes avec qui nous préparons le sol et désherbons les cultures. un tracteur entretient des zones non cultivées.
Nous disposons de serres. Les assistants disent que le travail est assez varié.
Nous sommes situés sur un terrain de trois ha dans un paysage verdoyant, exposé plein sud. C'est une zone assez touristique avec de nombreuses bases de loisirs (à 3 km), étang de baignade, piscine avec sauna et hammam, bowling et bar, soirée dansante l'été, parc animalier de Ste Croix... etc... Possibilités de ballade avec nos ânes. des vélos sont également disponibles pour faire du shopping à Sarrebourg si besoin (4km) ou pour des balades dans la nature. Baby-foot, ping-pong et jeux de société à disposition.
Il est également possible d'apprendre la langue française ici.
Si vous avez un gentil chien avec des chats de la ferme, vous êtes les bienvenus. nous recherchons des amis pour notre chien Leonberg Raja. elle a 4 ans.

we offer 3 rooms in the building , or a place in a caravan or camping car during the summer. One of the bedroom is collective, with several beds. Be ready to share your everyday life !
there is on site toilets, shower, and a living room, a very nice terrace for the summer.
the meals are vegetarian and I do it for lunch, with your help to prepare vegetables. for the evening, you prepare your meal with unsalable vegetables and cereals, dairy products....
Nous proposons trois chambres dans le bâtiment, ou une place dans une caravane ou un camping car en été. La troisième chambre est collective, avec plusieurs lits : soyez prêt à partager votre quotidien.
Il y a sur place cuisine, frigo et toilettes . douche, salon et une belle terrasse en été.
les repas sont végétariens et je m'en occupe pour le midi, avec votre aide pour éplucher les légumes. pour le soir, vous vous préparez un repas avec les légumes invendables, les produits laitiers céréales et légumineuses bio .

I prefer you arrive on monday and tuesday. not on thursday, because it's a day of harvest, and stress !
If you have gardening gloves and pocket knife, it's very useful.
in winter, warm clothes (ski socks, pantyhose under jogging, big jacket, the top, lined boots!)
in summer, sunscreen and cap.
I provide sheets, blanket and pillow.

un bon feeling avec les enfants est apprécié, avec mon fils Tiago.
Je préfère une arrivée le LUNDI et MARDI. pas d'arrivée le jeudi (car jour de récolte, et stress ! )
Si vous avez des gants de jardinage et un couteau de poche, c'est très pratique !
en hiver des habits chaud (chaussettes de ski, collant sous jogging, grosse veste, le top, bottes fourrées !)
en été, crème solaire et casquette.
je fournis draps, couverture et oreiller.
