  Hello dear people,
  I live about 4 months a year in my house in Greece, more precisely in the beautiful and still quite original Mani, in the very south of the Peloponnese.
  The house is near the sea with a breathtaking view of the lake.
  I spend a lot of time tending my olive groves and harvesting the olives once a year. This produces a purely organically produced, indescribably delicious oil.
  In the mid of february I start to clean Up the olive trees.
  In November it will be the time to harvest about 250 smaller tree, I estimate about 8-10 trees per harvester per day (4-6 hours of work). The harvest is done in the good old way with hand rakes and collected in jute sacks.
  I am looking for nice people who are interested in this mix of vacation (discovering Mani, hiking, swimming) and work and who like to experience new things and are also open to personal contact.
  I have been doing this myself for about 10 years now, usually a group of 4-6 people comes together for the olive harvest, so far everyone has had a lot of fun together.
  My work is private and does not pursue any commercial interests.
  It is about maintaining the old customs, preserving the culture of olive growing that characterizes the country and of course also harvesting our own olives.
  The landscape around the house is beautiful and the weather is still inviting for a swim even in November.
  The winter in Mani is short and hast many days with strong sunshine.
  If you love nature and feel sure-footed even in the rocky groves, you will really enjoy the time.
  I am married in Germany, my children are now grown up. I stopped working as a freelancer a few years ago and live for house & farm in Germany and Greece.
  A very good friend and talented hobby cook will be with me. The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, so depending on the configuration, 2 to a maximum of 4 guests can be accommodated.

  Hallo liebe Leute,
  ich lebe ca. 4 Monate pro Jahr in meinem Haus in Griechenland, genauer gesagt in der wunderschönen und noch recht ursprünglichen Mani, ganz im Süden des Peloponnes.
  Das Haus liegt in Meernähe mit atemberaubenden Seeblick.
  Ich beschäftige mich viel damit, meine Olivenhaine zu pflegen und einmal im Jahr die Oliven zu ernten. Daraus entsteht ein rein biologisch produziertes, unbeschreiblich leckeres Öl.
  Im Februar jeden Jahres beschneide ich die Bäume.
  Im November ist es jeweils soweit, ca. 250 kleinere Bäume zu ernten, pro Ernter/in veranschlagen ich ca. 8-10 Bäume pro Tag (4-6h Arbeit). Geerntet wird nach guter alter Sitte mit Handharken und gesammelt wird in Jutesäcke.
  Ich suche nette Menschen, die zu diesem Mix aus Urlaub (die Mani entdecken, Wandern, Schwimmen) und Arbeit Lust haben und gerne Neues erleben und auch im persönlichen Kontakt aufgeschlossen sind.
  Ich selber mache das jetzt seit ca. 10 Jahren, meistens ergibt sich zur Olivenernte eine Gruppe von 4-6 Personen, bisher hatten alle viel Spaß miteinander.
  Meine Tätigkeit ist privater Natur und verfolgt keine kommerziellen Interessen.
  Es geht darum, die alte Bräuche zu pflegen, die das Land prägende Kultur des Olivenanbaus zu erhalten und natürlich auch den Ertrag der eigenen Oliven zu gewinnen.
  Die Landschaft um das Haus herum ist wunderschön und das Wetter lädt auch im November noch zum Baden ein.
  Der Winter ist in der Mani kurz, auch dort finden sich viele Tage mit warmer Sonne und angenehmen Temperaturen.
  We Natur liebt und sich auch in den durchaus felsigen Hainen trittsicher fühlt, der wird die Zeit sehr genießen können.
  Ich selber bin in Deutschland verheiratet, meine Kinder sind mittlerweile erwachsen. Meine Arbeit in der Selbstständigkeit habe ich vor ein paar Jahren beendet und lebe für Haus & Hof in Deutschland und in Griechenland.
  Mit mir wird ein sehr guter Freund und begabter Hobbykoch zugegen sein. Das Haus hat 4 Schlafzimmer und 3 Bäder, je nach Konstellation können also 2 bis max. 4 Gäste aufgenommen werden.

  Over a period of 6-10 days, we will harvest the oil olives from around 250 smaller trees by hand. Climbing the trees is not necessary, but a certain level of sure-footedness is required in the olive groves due to their slope and the stones in the groves. Some of the trees are right next to the house, another grove is within walking distance, and the third grove can be reached by car. All of the groves offer a beautiful sea view, even while we are working.

  Über eine Zeit von 6-10 Tagen werden wir zusammen in Handarbeit die Öl- Oliven von ca. 250 kleineren Bäumen ernten. In die Bäume klettern ist nicht erforderlich, dennoch ist eine gewisse Trittsicherheit in den Olivenhainen aufgrund ihrer Hanglage und der Steine in den Hainen erforderlich.
  Ein Teil der Bäume ist direkt am Haus, ein weiterer Hain ist fußläufig in der Nähe, der 3. Hain wird mit dem Auto erreicht. Alle Haine bieten auch während der Arbeit einen wunderschönen Meerblick.

  Alojamiento

  The house is built from natural stone and is about 15 years old.
  The center is a living/dining room, on a total of 3 levels there are 4 bedrooms, all of which can accommodate a maximum of 2 people per room. All rooms have a wonderful sea view. The middle and upper levels have a terrace with a view of the sea, in front of the house there is a beautiful garden with a marble dining table.
  If the weather permits, we like to eat outside.
  Bed linen, towels, bath towels, washing machine and dishwasher are available.
  
  I take care of the meals. It would be nice to have breakfast together in the morning, then work together, and we have a snack in the grove.

  Das Haus ist aus Naturstein gebaut, ca. 15 Jahre alt.
  Zentrum ist ein Wohn/Esszimmer, auf insgesamt. 3 Ebenen gibt es 4 Schlafzimmer, alle max 2 Personen pro Zimmer nutzbar. Alle Zimmer bieten einen herrlichen Meerblick. Die mittlere und obere Ebene besitzen eine Terrasse mit Aussicht aufs Meer, vor dem Haus ist ein schöner Garten mit einem Marmor- Esstisch.
  Wenn es das Wetter zulässt, essen wir gerne draußen.
  Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Badetücher, Waschmaschine als auch Spülmaschine sind vorhanden.
  
  Für die Verpflegung sorge ich. Schön wäre es, morgens zusammen zu frühstücken, dann zusammen zu arbeiten, eine Zwischenmahlzeit nehmen wir im Hain ein.
