Hi I am a strong believer in family comes first. In my village of Oamaru there are many artistic creative people. It has a working Victorian precinct that is of world heritage status, with many attractions.
HQ for Steam Punk movement, Little Blue Penguins, Yellow-eyed Penguins, Sea lions and plenty interesting attractions, Home of Oamaru Stone.
My mother and brother's family live here, also my daughter and her children are near by.
My retirement dream of a life style farm-let with sheep, and extensive grounds tucked into a rural setting make for a quiet retreat ideal for a quality home stay environment.
To be helped with Gardening, mowing lawns and some house hold duties would be most appreciated.
I am so proud of this area I have many day trips to showcase out neighbourhood. Elephant Rocks, Moeraki Boulders, Vanished World of fossils. Micro Breweries great restaurants, and a modern day Castle all on my back door step.
My main past times are, if not spent with family are playing the sport of Lawn Bowls and Competition Bridge.
I also like to travel and this has made me aware of the many different and interesting cultures & cuisine.

We spent one week with Peter, in his beautiful property. Peter is a nice cooker and we enjoyed to meet his family ! The work was fair (gardening, housecleaning). In our spare time, Peter taught us the bowl lawn and shared with us some beers at the brewery.

Jaime and Ainhoa spent a week working on some very tough chores splitting to start with and the blisters.
I was so grateful for the initiative they showed. Many other odd jobs that kept them busy and the fun times we shared.
