  Hello! My name is Mabel and I live in Madrid with my husband Miguel and my dog Atila.
  My husband is 41, Atila is 13 and I am 38.
  
  We are a cheerful couple who love going to museums, the theatre, meeting up with friends, etc.
  At home, you will find a relaxed atmosphere and have plenty of free time, as we work from morning to afternoon.
  When we are at home, we like to watch films or series, cook, read, or even play on the PlayStation.
  We love to relax on the sofa.
  
  But when we go out, we like to have fun and dance, eat, drink, and enjoy ourselves.
  Even though we are in our 40s, we are very cheerful.
  Our families are also a lot of fun. We love having family gatherings, parties and, above all, having a good time together.
  Part of our family is in Galicia and we travel there a lot, so if you want to join us on these trips, you are more than welcome.
  
  I would like to host a girl from England, if possible, to help me with my English.
  If you are looking for a real immersion experience, I am sure you will enjoy living with us :)
  
  ¡Hola! MI nombre es Mabel y vivo en Madrid con mi marido llamado Miguel y mi perro que se llama Atila.
  Mi marido tiene 41, Atila 13 años y yo que tengo 38 años.
  
  Somos una pareja alegre a la que le encanta ir a museos, teatro, quedar con amigos, etc.
  En casa encontrarás un ambiente relajado y dispondrás de mucho tiempo libre, ya que trabajamos desde mañana a la tarde.
  Cuando estamos en casa nos gusta ver películas o series, cocinar, leer o incluso jugar a la play station.
  Nos encanta estar en el sofá relajados.
  
  Pero cuando salimos, nos gusta divertirnos y bailar, comer, beber y disfrutar.
  Aunque tengamos ya los 40 somos muy joviales.
  Nuestras familias también son muy divertidas, nos encantar hacer reuniones familiares, hacer fiestas y sobre todo pasarlo bien juntos.
  Parte de nuestra familia está en Galicia y viajamos muchos allí, con lo que si te quieres unir a estos viajes será un placer.
  
  Si buscas una inmersión de verdad, estoy segura de que disfrutarás viviendo con nosotros :)

  When you stay with us, you can explore Madrid on your own or with us, as I love visiting museums and showing people around my city.
  You can also join us for meals with family and friends, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in the culture.
  
  At home, you will find a relaxed atmosphere and have plenty of free time, as we work from morning to afternoon.
  
  I want to improve my English through conversation, daily practice and exercises with a native speaker, and of course, I will also be happy to help you with your Spanish.
  
  The flat has been completely renovated and we live in a well-connected area with all amenities.
  So if you want to go to a park, supermarket, gym, etc., you won't have any problems.
  
  And if you like animals, you'll love Atila, a big, affectionate dog, although he's a bit older now, at 13 years old, so you'll see that he just wants to lie on his bed.
  
  Al alojarte con nosotros, podrás conocer Madrid a tu aire o con nosotros pues me encanta ir de museos y enseñar mi ciudad.
  También podrás unirte a las comidas familiares y con amigos, lo que te permitirá sumergirte de verdad en la cultura.
  
  En casa encontrarás un ambiente relajado y tendrás mucho tiempo libre, ya que trabajamos desde mañana a la tarde.
  
  Quiero mejorar mi inglés a través de conversaciones, práctica diaria y ejercicios con un hablante nativo y por supuesto, también estaré encantada de ayudarte con tu español.
  
  El piso está completamente renovado y vivimos en una zona bien comunicada y con todas las comodidades.
  A si que si quieres ir a un parque, supermercado, gimnasio... etc, no vas a tener ningún problema.
  
  Y si te gustan los animales te encantará Atila, un perro grande y cariñoso aunque ya está un poquito mayor, tiene 13 años, con lo que verás que ya solo quiere estar tumbado en su cama.

  Alojamiento

  The flat has just been completely renovated, has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (the only drawback is that the bathroom is shared with us).
  The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances.
  We have internet and several film and series platforms such as Netflix, Amazon, Movistar...
  
  I am offering a room with a 135 cm bed and a large wardrobe.
  Clean sheets, a duvet and bath towels will be provided.
  The room also has a ceiling fan for hot days.
  
  As for meals, we usually eat at work or bring food with us.
  In principle, I do not offer meals, but if we cook and you feel like joining us, there is no problem.
  We will be happy to prepare some Spanish dishes for you.
  Of course, you can use the fridge to store your own food and cook whenever you want.
  
  House rules:
  You must be clean and tidy, as the flat is not very big and we all have to share the space.
  You must also feel comfortable living with a large dog that sheds quite a lot of hair. Although I clean often, it is inevitable that there will always be some hair around.
  The room is for the guest; it is not possible to bring people into the room without consulting us, nor is it possible to have parties when we are not at home, especially ones that I am not participating in :)
  We want someone who respects the community, the other neighbours, and enjoys a quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
  
  El piso acaba de ser completamente renovado, tiene 3 dormitorios y 1 baño (el único inconveniente es que el baño es compartido con nosotros).
  La cocina está totalmente equipada con todos los electrodomésticos.
  Contamos con internet y varias plataformas de pelis y series como Netflix, Amazon, Movistar...
  
  Ofrezco una habitación con una cama de 135 cm y un armario grande.
  Se proporcionará sábanas limpias, edredón y toallas de baño.
  La habitación también tiene un ventilador de techo para los días más calurosos.
  
  En cuanto a las comidas, nosotros solemos comer en el trabajo o traer comida.
  En principio no ofrezco comidas, pero si cocinamos y te apetece unirte a nosotros no hay ningún problema.
  Estaremos encantados de prepararte algunos platos españoles.
  Por supuesto, puedes usar el frigorífico para guardar tu propia comida y cocinar cuando quieras.
  
  Normas de la casa:
  Persona limpia y ordenada, ya que el apartamento no es muy grande y todos tenemos que compartir el espacio.
  También debes sentirte cómodo viviendo con un perro grande que suelta bastante pelo, aunque limpio a menudo, es inevitable que siempre haya algo de pelo.
  La habitación es para el alojado, no es posible traer a gente a la habitación sin consultar y tampoco que se celebren fiestas cuando no estemos en casa y menos en las que yo no participe :)
  Queremos a una persona que respete la convivencia, al resto de vecinos y disfrute de un ambiente tranquilo y agradable.

  The house has several bus stops nearby and you can walk to the underground station, making it easy to get to the city centre.
  
  There are parks, supermarkets and everything you need close to the flat, so you'll have all the amenities you need at your fingertips.
  
  We have two cars, so if you ever need help with transport, you can count on us whenever possible.
  
  La casa cuenta con varios autobuses y se puede ir al metro andando, por lo que es fácil llegar al centro de la ciudad.
  
  Hay parques, supermercados y todo lo que necesitas cerca del apartamento, por lo que tendrás todas las comodidades a mano.
  
  Tenemos dos coches, así que si alguna vez necesitas ayuda con el transporte, puedes contar con nosotros siempre que sea posible.

  I would prefer a girl if possible, because I think it will be more comfortable for us. She should be tidy, clean, friendly, and willing to spend a few hours chatting with me in English :) Me gustaría a ser posible una chica porque creo que serás más cómodo para nosotros, que sea ordenada, limpia , simpática y que tengas ganas de pasar unas cuantas horas conmigo charlando en inglés :)
