    Descripción

We’re a young family running a small off-grid eco-lodge in the heart of Raja Ampat.
Jack, Adecya, Bodhin (4), and Isla (3)—plus our three dogs: Chilli, Peppa, and Rokok.

Ask us for our website link if you’d like to learn more about the lodge and what we do.

The underwater photos you’ll see are from our very own reef, just 20 meters from the shoreline. Together with local villagers, we’ve helped protect it for the past four years.

We live surrounded by incredible wildlife:
Sea eagles, birds of paradise, hornbills, parrots, cockatoos, maleo birds, cuscus, sugar-gliders, butterflies, turtles, octopus, giant clams, walking sharks, cuttlefish, baby blacktip reef sharks, and seasonal visits from mantas—all part of our “garden” and nearby reef.

If you’re curious, just ask—we’re happy to share more.

  • Ayuda

    Ayuda

We’re looking for volunteers who’ve already lived or worked off-grid, especially in remote or forested environments. If you have experience with land-based systems or tools—whether that’s working with trees, helping manage infrastructure, or assisting with low-tech power or water setups—you’ll fit right in.

Minimum stay is 4–8 weeks, depending on your experience. It takes time to settle into our lifestyle and become truly useful.

Please note: this is not support for our eco-lodge business but help with our personal land—things like organizing sheds and tools, optimizing our Starlink internet, and assisting with general maintenance and land systems.

We’re not the right place for people offering skills in yoga, diving, photography, or creative arts. As wonderful as those are, they’re not what we need right now.

We especially welcome people who are confident working outdoors, comfortable with tools, and happy tackling practical tasks with initiative and care.

  • Algo más...

    Algo más...

On your days off, there’s plenty to enjoy—snorkelling, stand-up paddling, forest treks, birdwatching, and even fishing with local villagers. Nature is your playground here.

Getting here is a bit of an adventure:
    Jakarta – (plane) – Sorong – (ferry) – Waisai – (car/motorbike) – Saporkren – (boat) – Our paradise.
It’s remote, but worth every step.

We move around mostly by boat. Groceries come by delivery (yes, by boat!), and you’re welcome to catch a lift into town with our delivery guy—it takes about 30 minutes.

If you don’t speak Bahasa Indonesia, your social life will be a little limited. But if you’re content with a Robinson Crusoe-style lifestyle, surrounded by untouched rainforest and vibrant reefs, you’ll feel right at home.

We’re arguably as central as it gets out here—tucked into nature, yet close enough to the essentials.
