  Hello I'm Nisa. Me and my family own a private educational foundation inIndonesia. It has been established since 2004. This School is an Islamic and Inclusive School in Karawang. Dedicated to raising a generation of young Quran memorizers who possess strong life skills, leadership qualities, and excellent adab. In inclusivity, we accept some special students placed in the same environment with other students.
  
  We have around 40 staffs who work here, 15 of them are shadow teachers and the other are regular classroom teachers. Karawang may looked a quite big/modern city but in fact we have a quite large gap between schools that located in the heart of the city and some schools in suburban area. Despite all limitations, we still want to provide as best as we can for the students including the experience of using english in reality.
  
  Most importantly, we hope your time with us will be more than just a volunteering experience. We hope you’ll go home with wonderful memories, meaningful cultural experiences, and friendships that last long after your stay.

  Staying with our family means experiencing authentic Indonesian daily life firsthand. You’ll have the chance to learn about our traditions, local customs, language, and culture while sharing delicious homemade Indonesian meals with us especially Sundanese.
  
  When you’re not volunteering, you’ll have plenty of free time to explore Karawang and the surrounding areas. We have mall, cafe and even sports fields everywhere, there are many places to discover. We’re always happy to recommend places to visit and help you experience West Java from a local perspective.
  
  Most importantly, we hope your time with us will be more than just a volunteering experience. We hope you’ll go home with wonderful memories, meaningful cultural experiences, and friendships that last long after your stay. And if you play tennis, we can also play or even practice together!

  We hope you can share your language and cultures with the students. We want them to be encouraged to use the language and to overcome they shyness. You will accompanied by the classroom english teachers while interract with the students. Or maybe we can make other separate project about culture and language sharing for students who interested.

  We often learn language theoritically without really use it in real life. That is the reason why we want learn language pratically

  Alojamiento

  We provide:
  • A shared volunteer room (maximum 2 volunteers) with air conditioning and two beds.
  We can serve 3 meals per day according to your preferences (we will ask the menu options)
  • Free Wi-Fi.
  • Occasionally, if our family travels together, we'll happily invite volunteers to join us and cover the entrance fees or tickets for those activities.

  Our home is located along a major road, with easy access to nearby cities and public transportation. There are plenty of choices if you want to travel to another place.
