  Hi! We are a family of four (Mom + Dad, 2 kiddos age 5+7). Room offered in our recently built house with stunning mountain views. We're hoping to welcome someone into our home in return for a deep clean of the house and some help with tidying up the yard and vege garden before winter. Come and explore beautiful Revelstoke, BC - we can help you get out to hike, bike, paddle, climb or just relax and enjoy the views, and we'd love to introduce you to the fantastic community in Revy! (Please note; availability is until the end of November only - this is NOT winter accommodation).

  Explore the beautiful BC wilderness surrounding Revelstoke and be a part of an amazing small mountain town community! We get out for family fun days as often as we can and as part of our family you'd be welcome to join us on our adventures. We can help you find equipment if you want to hike, bike, camp, paddle, climb, dirt bike or whatever - most things are available for rent in town, and we can share our local knowledge of places to visit and things to see and do (so many gems to find in the area!).
  We have a 'townie' pedal bike you can use to get around - it is the preferred mode of transport in Revy in the warmer months.
  
  We try to live and eat pretty clean and minimize the chemicals and nasty stuff found in food, cleaning and beauty products etc. We're working towards a small homestead type lifestyle (ish) and we're happy to share our thoughts, knowledge, recipes, ingredients and anything else if you're interested.
  
  There are lots of fun, creative ways to volunteer in the community and many friends to meet - we can point you to some fantastic local organizations that always welcome help. If you are hoping to stay in Revelstoke for the Winter season, we can offer suggestions and insights for housing and job searches.

  Hi! We live in beautiful Revelstoke, BC and I am hoping to offer someone a room in our lovely home in return for them doing a thorough deep clean of the house and helping me pack down the garden for winter while they stay. Hours/duties are somewhat flexible and I'll be close by to support and supervise - I work from home. What I'm thinking is that you spend a few hours cleaning each morning and then once that's done - go explore! Once the deep clean is done and the yard is tidy, I'd just be looking for light housekeeping like dishes, sweeping the floor and taking a turn cooking dinner.
  
  This could work great for someone coming to Revy for winter and needing somewhere to stay while waiting for winter accommodation. Crucial that you understand this is NOT accommodation for the ski season - we only have availability for October and November. Seasonal housing is very tricky to find here so you need to make other arrangements for after November if you're planning to stay in Revy for winter.
  
  Myself and my partner are in our early 40's and we work hard and play hard. We love getting outside and are excited to show our kids the world, and all the fun stuff to do out there. It's really important that you are a good fit for our little family and everyone will need to be comfortable with the arrangements and with each other. The kids are 5 and 7 years old and life gets busy, chaotic and loud sometimes. It's also a lot of fun and there are some wonderful moments to be had. We try to live and eat pretty clean and minimize the chemicals and nasty stuff found in food, cleaning and beauty products etc. and we'd expect anyone in our home to be respectful of that. Happy to share our thoughts, knowledge, recipes, ingredients and anything else if you're interested in a clean lifestyle - also happy not to share if that's not your jam!

  My family only speaks English but we'd love someone to stay who could teach us all - particularly the kids - a new language!

  Alojamiento

  We have a recently built, bright, beautiful, spacious home in Revelstoke. You would have your own (queen bed) room and a shared toilet/bathroom in the main family area of the house. You would share a kitchen and living area with myself, my partner and the kiddos. Both my partner and myself work from home, so we will be close by.
  Food can be included - there is always a vegetarian option (though we'd have to negotiate how this will work if you are vegan/dairy free/gluten free, as quite simply, groceries are insanely expensive here). You would supply your own alcohol if you wish, though in moderation - we are a family home, not a party pad.
  Strictly no pets and no smoking.
  We are approx 4 km from town centre - you can walk or ride a bike to town in about 20 min and we are close to the local bus route. Parking available for max. 1 vehicle. There are stunning walking trails from the back yard. We're looking for a respectful single person or couple to join our busy, bustling (and sometimes loud!) little household. (Please note; availability is until the end of November only - this is NOT winter accommodation).

  We don't have a separate space for you to work online but you can work in peace out of your room. If you need a printer / scanner / copier we'd ask for a contribution to paper, ink etc. We have a good, unlimited, wifi connection that you could use to connect to the internet.
