Descripción
We are after 2 workers from today and stay at least 8 weeks
We live on the Central Coast near Halekulani , but want to travel to Townsville after July 13.
Then stay there for about 6 weeks
HALEKULANI
Surf - canoe - boating - swim - cycle
- bush walks - sand skiing, tourist walks.
Sydney Adventure days.
TOWNSVILLE
Surf, beach swimming, great cycling , tourist attractions
ALL food is provided and we will regularly take you to free restaurants and cafes.
We are after 2 guys or a couple . We prefer people who are over 25 yrs old.
In Townsville We will work about 5 days a week and then have Weekends free. .
At HALEKULANI
Normally we travel once a week to Sydney and enjoy being tourists - we walk up to 30km and see lots of tourist spots.

TOWNSVILLE
I am hoping to leave and travel the 24 hours to Townsville - I think for about 6 weeks??
We are very close to beaches and bike tracks plus. So we swim most days and have lots of bike rides. We are very close to the boat to Magnetic Island so we will spend a Saturday with snorkelling , beach swimming and surfing .
We eat mainly homemade cooking and cater for any food needs even vegan etc.
The work is cleaning, painting and minor wall damage repair. .
So you need to be fit and can go up ladders to paint.
WORK
1. Get 4 units ready for rent so painting and cleaning up . We currently have 19 disabled people and families in our current houses we used to have 34 people. At Townsville we are looking at housing for refugees or disabled.
My wife and I are retired, she worked part time as a pastoral care worker in a church and I was a Pastor, surf chaplain and lectured at a dozen universities or colleges.
WHAT YOU CAN DO?
I have lots of bikes and surf gear and swim/surf often.
We are surrounded by bike tracks, great walks and surf beaches
Lots to see and do.
We have had 151 workaway workers and love entertaining and will treat you like family.
We look forward to you becoming part of our family. -

I really enjoyed showing him Sydney and the Blue Mountains. We would have him again anytime
The work was not difficult and consisted of different tasks in a house they were renovating in Penrith. The hours were flexible and we had plenty of free time. However, there was a lot of travel time (1h45) to reach the house to be renovated.

I worked them hard as they helped paint and renovate a house that we used for disabled people for 14 years - so it needed a lot of work.

He worked like a champion and was great to have around. I highly recommend him . We would have him back any day .
As a person who has never travelled much yet and never used workaway before, I was very worried in the beginning.
But Rob and Jenny let you forget all your sorrows.
Rob has so many nice spots he will go to with you and Jenny is a fantastic cook so your time here is going to get unforgettable!

We did out door painting and preparation and heavy digging of removing turf to put down pebbles. Both exhausting jobs that they did perfectly.
I can highly recommend them and would have them back in a heart beat.
They are also great cooks so letting them loose in the kitchen will be a blessing.
We really lived having them and they are always welcome to return.
They English is good and have a great work ethic.
