This was my first workaway experience and I couldn’t have wished for a better one. I stayed with this wonderful family for about four weeks and the time flew very fast!! From the first minute they made me feel like being part of the family which I really enjoyed..even if I didn`t talk that much ;) Angela and Shane are really welcoming and
… read more generous..always made sure that I had everything I needed and drove to/picked me up from the bus station, the beach or my trips to for example Dingle (I spent a lot of time there) at any time. They live near the spectacular and long Inch Beach where I got the chance to learn how to surf which was really exciting even though I am not really good in catching waves ;) the area is absolutely stunning, the mountains right behind the house and the view from the living room window directly at the sea. I totally enjoyed spending time with Maryanne and Joseph who are just great little people. We had a lot of fun together playing games, jumping on the trampoline, being creative or the daily piggyback sessions :) I really miss these times!!
I would definitely choose Maryanne, Joseph, Angela and Shane as a host again and I can highly recommend this family with all my heart! Thank you so much for the experience I have made and for everything else. All the best!!

We all miss Roya so much . Our children aged 6&7 bonded with her straight away. Roya was such a help to me with our household chores never having to be asked !! Roya would be a blessing to any home or workplace to have Roya stay with them. A beautiful sole a beautiful person WE miss you Roya and wish you all the best and happy safe travels and

I spent 4 amazing weeks with this family. They are such generous and warm-hearted people. You can definitely not ask for better hosts! Their place is located in a fantastic area, surrounded by beautiful mountains and the sea. I helped with housework and the kids. Maryanne and Joseph are great kids and i had a lots of fun with them.

Anina was a pleasure to have in our home. She settled in very quick in our family and had a great connection with our kids. Anina was like an older sister ,who was so thoughtful and caring while minding the kids. She was also a great help to me keeping the place tidy. Anina is a fantastic guest to have in your home. she played with the kids cooked
… read more them dinner helped them with there homework , read them bedtime stories , got them to bed and up and ready for school in the morning. Anina made the most of her time off going walking , cycling and exploring the area no matter what the weather!!! Any host family would be lucky to have Anina stay with them. We hope next summer Anina will come back and visit her Irish family , we all miss her and wish her all the best.

… read more helped me explore so many new places and every day I could experience something new. I absolutely loved spending time with Maryanne and Joseph, they are great and lovely kids. We always had great fun together and they gave me so much during my stay, I truly miss them! The area is very beautiful and on my last day I was still absolutely amazed by the amazing view from the house. There are a lot of opportunities to go hiking in the mountains and Shane even took me kayaking once, which was so cool! I always love to think back to the moments I shared with this amazing family and I can't describe how thankful I am for everything. You could not have a nicer person stay in your home than Sarka. She stayed with us for a few weeks and every day was a pleasure. My two kids aged 4 and 6 fell in love with her . … read more children and housework .We have a small goat farm here and 3 dogs ,cats and hens .Sarka was so willing and eager to learn how to look after all the animals .I was able to away for a few days and leave Sarka looking after all the animals on the farm. She was even great at milking the goats. She has an adventures spirt and was so happy to put on her hiking boots and go off up the mountains exploring.
I can safely say any home would be blessed to have Sarka stay . On top of everything shes a great cook . It was such a treat to taste some delicious traditional Czech meals and to learn a bit about Czech culture. I hope one day she will come and visit us again. Angela.
