Descripción
We are 2 french, settled in Finland since 2016. Augustin and Laetitia have three young children. We have 42 dogs, taïmyr dogs
We live 300 km north of the polar circle in Finnish Lapland. We live without running water. We have a lake where we take our drinking water. We wash once a time by the hot water that each people prepare for themselves, like a sauna.
You will live inside a cottage, with a fire place. There is kitchen, oven, and toilet are outside.
The life is in voluntary simplicity, as much as possible in harmony with nature.
It's a great adventure, and we are enjoy to show you this life and own work with animals.

By coming to us, you will discover Lapland and the beauty of its nature, its absolute silence. You will discover our primitive dogs and their characters, discover the relationships we have with them and the happiness of working with them. You will discover an atypical way of life, allowing you to make a break or refocus on yourself. We speak french, and english (although our english needs to be improved).

Ayuda
We are looking for peoples to help us to take care of ours dogs, stay in the camp during the weekend (we are a family with 3 childs, and we don't live in same place of our dogs). And Maybe sometimes to help us for different thing.
Every day (except weekend when we have people to help us), we come to take care of our dog family
So we are looking for people to help us take care of our dogs (food, poop pick-up, water tower, outings, training...), then participation in some work, if we need or have .
You will be accommodated in a cottage with kitchen, sauna, located on the edge of a lake. Our house is 15 minutes from the camp, but we come to work every day.

When you come, you will be staying either in a cottage. We have beds, but you must bring your sleeping bags. In the cottage there is a wood stove, which will work depending on the temperatures. The bathroom is the sauna, which you take when you want, it's you to prepare your sauna: cut firewood, bring water.... . We do not have running water.the dwellings are typical Nordic dwellings, and allow to be close to nature. There is no TV. But we are good internet by your phone.

We are around 10km from the city of Ivalo; we will let you have bikes available. In ivalo there are two supermarkets, a bank, a souvenir shop, a pharmacy, a cinema and 2 pubs. There is the museum of Inari 60 km from us, a museum explaining the nature of the Lapland and the culture of reindeer herders. There is also the lake inari, a jewel of lapland. South of our home, there is a ski resort with departures in the national parks, and a gold museum where you will be able to search for gold. Then it's the wild nature of Lapland
