Many years ago, during our journey in Germany, Australia, Spain and Italy, many times we had sponteniuos exchange with unknow peole, with develop our mindset. We are greatfull for these and now we want to give back this amazing opportunity to the next generation.
Me (Mamma Patty) and my partner Andrea were born in 1978 and we live in a beautiful, rural part of Trentino, in the Reserve of Adamello Brenta National Park.
On our little farm we produce mostly vegetables and, a bit far away, Olive Oil. We have three boys Eliseo, Aronne and Ireneo (2002, 2004 and 2007) and our Family is very easy going. We like to eat well and healthy, so for 14 years we have produced a lot of our own food. 2016 we started to also produce food for other familes and if you would like to give a concrete help, as we did in passt, is wellcome!

They can learn a lot about organic farming, Italian cuisine, and making their own bread or pizza. We knead dough every day, and this "community's work" is done in shifts, with lessons from one volunteer to another.
Volunteers spend a lot of time together, whether it's working in the farm, at the table and in the house, or in our free time. We enjoy a lot laughing, and building community is a good source. Naturally is possible take own time but joining our family isn't recommended for those looking for "room and board" in exchange of work... Our best experience has been with people who have joined our world, become part of our family and we still hear since years!!

Most of our help takes place outdoors and changes daily, so you certainly won't get bored. The tasks are varied and include: planting, growing, and harvesting vegetables, chopping wood, cultivating olives and backing.
The main requirements are a smile, a great sense of humor (we love to laugh), and the ability to get involved. Our goal is to make volunteers feel exhausted but proud to be part of a big family team, trough our motto "give to receive." We're ready to show you the best of our lifestyle and our area. If you're willing to help, we'd be happy to invest our energy into creating an unforgettable experience. But if you're not, don't expect much from us: energys have a limits.

Alojamiento
All the space in our house is available. The volunteers have their own bathroom and they can use the washing machine. Accommodation have two option: a dormitory room (sometime volunteer could be more than one) or the treehouse. These is dry and safe from animals, including the bears (yes, is possible to meet Braun bear here, but generally is not danger and we know all the instruction for live in peace with him and the potentially danger situations).
If you will choose the threehouse, we recommend a good sleeping bag because (also in summer) it can be cold.

Our area is famous for sports tourism because it's close to everything. The Dolomites, Lake Molveno, and Lake Garda are the main attractions and are easily accessible if you have your own vehicle. We prefer to visit less touristy, more exclusive areas, and if all goes well, we visit somewhere we like every week. Hikers, climbers, base jumpers, mountain bikers (if they have one) and anyone who loves nature, fresh air, and water are welcome here.

I had a great time visiting Patty & Andrea's farm and family. They are very welcoming, the food is amazing, and there's always a reason to laugh. We just left this place yesterday and already miss this family (and the food) so much! Andrea, Patti, and the boys are so welcoming and we had so much fun with them. We also miss the little fights between their cat Spruzza and their adorable dog Dina <3

Incredible Workaway hosts and place! They truly are a crazy little family in the best way possible! Always smiling and joking (especially Andrea!), but they still all work so hard. When they arrived, they seemed really nice and pleasant.
But when they cooked a wonderful chicken with a can of beer in the ass in the pizza oven, we started to love them!!
