Descripción
We are a family with longstanding roots in the San Miguel area of El Salvador. We are currently developing a farm property and are especially in need of workaways that can serve as carpenter, electrician, as well as work with water systems and natural construction. We also run a hostal in San Miguel city,
Generally, we are looking for good people with positive energy who like to work. In exchange for your efforts, we are happy to offer you a dorm room with a shared bath and kitchen and of course your breakfast. We love our beautiful country and will love to share it with you!
The main tasks we have in mind are as follows:
Clean the hotel guest rooms: Change the linens, help with laundering the linens. Sweep and mop the floors. Clean the sink, toilet, shower, and mirrors.
Help manage the hotel common areas: Take out garbage and compost as needed. Sweep and mop the floors as needed. Clean the tables and counters as needed. Help checking in the guests.
Clean the farm land: Cut down and move large trees and brush, using a machete and other tools. Help cultivate a new cacao farm area and other plants and threes
Help develop the farm property: Help to build simple housing, horse stables, a water system, and other constructions using natural materials from a tropical area.
Help with horses, cows, hens and 5 dogs !

The workawayer will live in a Hostal in San Miguel and in the future in a little house like a cabaña, in a forest on our property.
The volunteer will receive breakfast and can use a kitchen to prepare other meals. -
