Hi! We have a dream to live a more self sufficient life, primarily with energy and food, our values are to be eco-friendly and protect nature.
We took over our farm in april 2022; our 3 kids, 4 cats, 2 rabbits and Obi our dog. In July four hens and a rooster moved in, thanks to our first workawayer Joseph! In september three more chickens moved in. We have recently added a couple of ducks and another dog.
Our farm, from 1825, is located on Møn, A UNESCO biosphere reserve that is internationally recognized and characterized by a rare wealth of landscapes and species, including many vulnerable animals and plants. Staying on our farm in Øst Møn you are in the middle of a Dark Sky area and Biosphere Reserve where you have the unique opportunity to discover the Danish landscapes and species during your stay.
The coming years at the farm will include:
+ cooking and baking
+ taking care of animals (cleaning stables and feeding/watering)
+clean and restore «the pit»(floor, walls and roof)
+ sort things in barns and stable
+ painting houses, doors, windows
+ prep the Moongarden
+ Keep the garden in order
+ Harvest fruits and berries to make jam and marmelade
+ clean out the stables and hayloft(s)
+prep for the construction of a natural light film studio for events and production
…and many other projects that pop up!Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Camille is an assistant professor in Sustainable TV-production in a university in Norway (travel in periods to work/work from home), leadershipcoach and is also certified biosphere ambassador here on Møn.
Camille is building a small Moon Garden/Dark Sky garden for kids in our garden, where you can discover what is happening in nature after sunset, and why we need darkness in our life.
This is a scandinavian home; Camille is from Sweden, Kasper is from Denmark, our kids are born in Denmark and Norway. We will gladly share scandinavian culture and language with you and include you in the family!Proyectos con niños

We are looking for volunteers that ate interested in building and restoring with an ecological point of view.
We are also looking for volunteers that can set up sustainable systems such as solarpanelsystem, Rainwater harvesting, building a rocket stove, grey water systems etc.
We need help with many other different things that has to do with gardening, maintenance and construction.
This is what we are doing right now (beside normal day work like feeding animals, cleaning rabbit/duck/chickenhouse, keeping the house clean and nice, prepping and cooking food):
-painting the house
-establishing a vegetable garden
-harvesting fruits and berries
-sealing, cleaning and painting windows and doors
-fix and put up fences,
-convert a garage into a farm shop
-set up solar panels and establish an alternative central heating
-Set up a outdoor toilet and shower
Camille is in the proces of designing a Dark Sky walk for kids - you might help prep for plants that thrives at night and attract nocturnal insects.
It would also be lovely to have company while restoring the farm yard. Camille is bringing up the 200 year old stonegully for the rain water to end up in the pond! It will be Beautiful!
Depending on your skills and interest we will figure out what you can help with, also considering your arrival time.
We try use material that is already on the farm and buy as little new as possible. (Recycle - Reuse - Reduce)Idiomas

Dry toilet on the farm and bathroom in our house. Simple but nice and you will take part in our family life.Algo más...
We spend time together in our garden and the trampoline is probably the kids favorite place outside. Tabletennis and badminton is also high on the list. Our kids are gamers so a lot of the time is spent on talking about movies and content (Camille former production manager, Kasper a Sound designer for movies and TV Producer).
Camille love beeing outdoors and spend a lot of time in the garden and around the farm. We also like to watch movies, play boardgames and do puzzles.
Local publictransport is 1,8km from the farm, with a bike you are close to the ocean, camønoen and Møns Klint.
Møn is overflowing with beautiful Nature! Stege, the main town on the island is 8 km from the farm.Un poco más de información

this was my first workaway experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Kasper and Camille are some of the kindest, most helpful and generous people I‘ve ever met. They integrated me into their family from day one and showed me many practical things. I could always talk to them about everything.
They always struck the right balance… read more

I was happy to be with such a powerful and exciting family for 2 weeks.
Camille is very kind. I was not good at speaking English, but she always took care of me. When I couldn't catch a conversation, she aiways asked me if it made sense. And she explained to me what she wanted to say again.
