Kia ora. We are Neil and Lisa and would love you to join us on our large property in Titirangi that has beautiful expansive views of the Manukau Harbour and is surrounded in native birds and bush. Our project involves restoring our native bush through plantings and clearing invasive weeds. Titirangi village is a 20 minute walk and from there you can access public transport into Auckland central. If you enjoy spending time in the forest, being near the beach, and listening to bird song you will love this area. We appreciate hearing about your home country and your travels and to share our experience of living in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We are a couple in our late fifties who grew up in Aotearoa NZ but have also travelled to many parts of the world. We will share our experience of living in Aotearoa New Zealand and our understanding of preserving our native forest. We love connecting with people from other countries and hearing about your experiences so that we can learn from each other.

We have various gardening projects and would love help from enthusiastic people willing and able to get stuck into the garden. Tasks might include removing invasive pest plants, weeding, pruning, planting and laying soil and mulch. You need to be fit and strong and know your way around a garden.

We are located in the Waitakere ranges which is a nature lovers paradise with many walking tracks within easy walking or driving distance. French Bay is 10 minutes walk away and Titirangi Village has great cafes, a supermarket and art gallery and is a 15-20 minute walk. From there, public transport can take you to Auckland central and other parts of Auckland. We live in a tranquil, restful area so it is important that our guests are quiet.
