  Hello,
  
  Our hostel is in Weligama, South Coast of Sri Lanka. The season starts in November and ends in March. The hostel is located straight next to the river, with our little fishing boat and a big garden with palm trees, chill areas, outdoorshower and (soon) outdoor kitchen.
  
  The Surfschool, is only five walking minutes from the hostel at the beach. We are situated a little bit outside of the city center, so its very calm and chilled and surrounded by nature. At the moment we are renovating the hostel, doing our best to make it more cosy, more hippie, more beatiful so that every guest can enjoy a chilled time at our place.
  
  At the Moment we are two people, Lara who is mostly taking care of the hostel and Kumara who is the owner of the surfschool. We are also both staying at the hostel :)

  In our hostel you will meet a lot of people from all around the world!
  
  I am Lara, 29 years old and from Germany. I will be at the hostel the whole time, same as my Partner Kumara who is from Sri Lanka and the surf school owner.
  
  Also our four puppies are looking forward to a nice person that likes to cuddle them and spend time with them!
  
  In the hostel there will always be time for creative things, like painting, crafting, drawing, jewelry making, small boat trips on the river, carom-game-sessions, bonfire, reading in the hammock!
  
  We are looking for a calm and trustful person - we are NOT a party hostel and trying to create a chilled vibe where everyone feels safe.

  Ayuda

  We would be super happy to get some support in the hostel - especially in cleaning!
  We have two dorms, kitchen and big garden. The work would be for the beginning one hour cleaning in the morning and one hour in the evening.
  
  Cleaning:
  - Bathroom every morning and evening
  - Cleaning the floor every morning in every room
  - Changing sheets in the dorms for new beds
  -garden cleaning
  
  Other small tasks can add to this, like doing groceryshopping, organizing maybe small creative projects in the hostel, etc.

  Alojamiento

  You will get a bed in a 8-bed mixed dorm!
  If you decide to stay more than one month we can also think about installing one really good tent in the garden if you like that more - so you would have more privacy.
  
  Breakfast is included, you can use the kitchen for that but cook on your own. Food for breakfast is provided by us. Also we often cook all together in the evening and we are always happy to share food with you!

  they were born in April 2026 in arugambay at our other hostel/camp by a streetdog that spend a lot of time with us, as we gave food to her everyday. After she died in a car accident we felt responsible for taking care of them
