Descripción
Hi, I am a single mum with two teenage daughters. We live in a very beautiful countryside with lots of vineyards, forests, small villages and lakes. I work as a freelance writer from home. My work hours a very flexible, but I usually have a big workload including our garden, maintaining our pretty little house, cooking, baking, laundry, sewing, repair jobs, community work etc.
There is always bread to bake, vegetarian meals to cook and harvest to preserve.
You can stay with us for one and up to four weeks and will be a part of our family. We speak English and a little French. Our kids would be glad to practice their language skills!
This experience should not be just work but an exchange of knowledge and culture.
You will have your own room plus bathroom. Plus lots of English books, a piano, guitar, craft supplies.
Our house is situated 20 minutes from Heilbronn, 1 1/2 hours from Frankfurt, 1 hour from Stuttgart and 2 hours from Nuremberg.
You will be working five days a week around 4-5 hours each day.
In particular you will have to ...
.....help around the garden (depending on the season: shoveling compost, cutting back plants, watering, weeding, harvesting, transplanting plants, etc).
....do household chores such as cleaning windows, dusting, mopping, etc.
....do home improvement tasks (painting, minor repair jobs)
....cook and preserve when needed.
Expect good meals, time around the table, little weekend trips. In return, I hope you will feel part of our little family.

You will learn our way of cooking, baking and preserving. We usually go hiking on the weekends and you are welcome to join our family activities.
We mostly eat vegetarian and healthy stuff. As I used to travel a lot in my younger days I will be happy to have you in our home to learn more about your culture and worldviews!

Overall our time with Diana was a memorable one.
I enjoy all the time I spent in obersulm, I recommend this experience if you want to have a German culture exchange.
They take me to different villas and we do some Netflix nights .
