Descripción
We have a small hobby farm just 5kms outside the town of Deloraine in the north of Tassie.
The house, a large 4 bedroom house, is too big for two people, so we love having people come visit. Our cats also love the extra attention of our guests.
We are slowly establishing the farm, working to make it more productive with chooks, goats, bees and vegetable gardens as well as trying to keep some scrub weed free for the native animals.
We regularly have wallabies, possums, and echidnas on the property as well regular fly overs by wedge tail eagles.
Myself and Pete both work part time with varied shifts throughout the week. There will be lots of free time on the property to relax or to explore Tassie.
Own transport is useful however we can easily provide lifts into Deloraine and have 2 spare push bikes for those wishing to explore on two wheels.
Maximum stay is two weeks (longer may be negotiated)

We are slowly establishing our farm, currently working on possum proofing vegetable garden beds, fencing for goats and poultry, and weed control.
We are offering a home stay arrangement with meals in exchange for some assistance with gardening, weeding, landscaping, fencing, and general maintenance work.
If people have the desire, we also have a shipping container that we would like decorated :)

Deloraine is a farming/tourist town located on the way to Walls of Jerusalem and Cradle Mtn National Parks and near the Mole Creek caves. Excellent base for bush walking and exploring Tasmania. Public transport is available to Deloraine.

Carloyn and Peter are really welcoming and nice couple and they have the friendliest goats i've ever met :-)
