  Welcome to my world!
  
  I realized that I can’t do all by myself, and that I like so much to share and to live in a tribe, so….nice and helpful people, you're invited to come over!
  
  Single Mothers/Fathers or little families (max 3) welcome!
  
  I’m Gaia, Italian, 51, full of energy and happiness, very curious about life itself and how people live it, Animal Communicator and dogs trainer.
  I live in the countryside and homeschool with my 8 years old son Balam Felice, his father José (55), 3 cats and 2 dogs. I speak Italian, Spanish, French, English, a bit of Portuguese and now learning German. José speaks Spanish and understsands and speaks some Italian.
  
  I love Nature, Music, Spirituality, Friendship and I’ve been travelling for several years (still on the run when I can!), doing different jobs, hosting volunteers and couchsurfers, and volunteering in different places around the world.
  
  With José we had the privilege to be both with our son and give him our presence until now, that José went back to work, I want then to organize our time properly, finding space in our daily life, for all that we need and worship.
  
  I’d love to receive some help from inspiring and creative minded people, wanting to share home/Unschooling with us, with their son or daughter.
  My son would love to have a friend to share time and play football :), and I'd love to share life, thoughts, home/unschooling, child and animal care, and to have some help around.
  I like to be with people who are really aware about Ecology, Non Violent communication, Respectful Teaching, Animals Care, House/Garden work, Healthy Lifestyle, Arts and Music, personal Growth.
  
  I’d like to receive a person who really integrated in her/his life health, spirituality and balance, and
  who could be a good help for me and a good example for my son to be followed.
  
  I'd be happy to receive someone with Knowledge about kid’s growth, Education (Waldorf, Montessori more then welcome), Emotional Education, Teaching and with a strong attitude and desire to be with kids in a respectful way.
  Teaching English would be welcome too, and speaking Italian or Spanish, too.
  
  If someone wants to come and help, we found useful to have a 2/3 days trial period to get to know each others, after what we can decide whether to go on during more time. In that case longstayers are welcome!
  
  Please, before applying I kindly ask you to consider that our place is smoke/alcohol/drugs/addictions free.
  
  I really love to offer a good life to myself and to all the people and animals I live with:
  
  Balam Felice, our son, is a 8 years old skinny, sporty and full of energy kid. We’re in the homeschooling adventure and I would really like to find a more creative way to live it.
  I’m trying to keep him connected with nature and with his body and mind, and to transmit him a healthy balance in his relation with screens, tv and videogames.
  Help with this challenge is welcome too.
  
  My superdoggyfriend Baraka is now 16 (and a half) years old, and sometimes struggling to stand up, so I’d prefere her not to be alone for more than a couple of hours.
  Citlalli and Mew, our two almost 3 years old cats, are nice and indipendent, and they enjoy very much to be with people they know, and to play or to be cuddled.
  
  Our new entries are:
  
  - Missifú, a 4 months old kitty who’s full of energy and starts to discover the world., and as she is pretty wild, we’re by her side trying her not to run away or get lost.
  
  - Nuvola, a 5 years old shih tzu ladydoggy who belonged to my beloved 90 years old Auntie that passed away a couple of months ago. She’s a really easy going little sweetie, now getting used to live in the countryside, and needing love and little walks in town and in the surroundings.
  
  We also travel to Italy, and we would need a person to be in charge of the house and the animals while we’re abroad and José is out of the house working.
  
  Other things we need help for can be: healthy cooking, teaching, spending time witth Balam Felice while I’m busy, looking after our veggie garden, (14 olive trees, 3 walnut trees, two almond trees and several plants), cleaning, poolcaring. Emptying spaces and rationalizing them, Ecopainting.
  
  Should you have been reading until now, it means you’re interested, so I’m happy to let you know what you can enjoy here with us:
  
  we live within a very nice and quiet valley called "La Foia de Castalla", 816 m above sea level, 25 minutes away from Alicante in the Comunitat Valenciana. Our house is close to Onil town, Castalla own and Ibi Town, the bigger one (24.0000 inhabitants); the closest town is just 15’ away ciclying!
  We have some land, 14 olive trees, 3 walnut trees , 2 almond trees and a cherry tree, many plants and flowers and a veggie garden who wishes to be a permacolture one :)))))).
  Great open landscapes, surrounded by mountains and small towns, pine trees, oaks, great biodiversity (many birds!!) and friendly people live tranquilly and keeping their traditions alive (Paella is just one of them!!!!!).
  We're surrounded by fields with olive, almond, walnut trees and several crops (oat, wheat, artichokes, pumpkins, etc.)
  Should you come with your camper/Van, etc. Let us know its size in advance, so to be sure that it can fit.
  Accommodation can be in a room, in a tent, or in a little house we have beside our house.
  Wifi 24h is in the house!
  We also have a pool, hammocks, bicycles, very nice walks, and you can come with us to visit the small towns when we go there.
  We have a piano (electronic one) and a couple of guitars (I play guitar and trumpet).
  You can learn/practice your Spanish or Italian
  We have many tools to create whatever
  
  
  My big dream is to found a community and live in armony with nature and like minded people, enjoying the great pleasure to settle down in a nice place, to share life, permaculture projects and to grow up with my son in a healthy and inspiring environment, being able to travel when we want, knowing that other nice beings are looking after our community while we’re not there, and offering to the other members the same great chance!

  You're welcome to participate to our family life, to improve your Italian or Spanish, I (Gaia) also speak English, France and Portuguese (would love to improve it!) and as I'm dog trainer I can give you many tips about how to train dogs. We can also play and sing together and make some music.
  José speaks Spanish and he succeds in being understood in many languages!
  The place we're living in is very calm, with dry hot summers and dry cold winters. It is full of local Culture, in a Bi-lingual region (Castellano and Valenciá), plenty of cultural activities and along the year many "Moors and Christians" Fiestas and different fiestas too. Paella is just one of the typical yummy food you can eat here!
  Right in this valley, during the past, some companies gave birth to dolls and toys and fastly attracted several people coming from other parts of Spain to work within Toys factories (just google Famosa, Rico, Reig and have a look!).
  Now factories are still on the run, but many ones, due to the strong worldwide competition, started producing other plastic goods and several metal goods as moulds for car parts, etc. Ibi was Toys town and Ice cream town, so, after having eaten a yummy Ice Cream you can get to know much about the history in Onil and Ibi dolls and toys museums.
  Foreign people are not only Benidorm's lovers; many of them, mostly coming from Great Britain, fall in love with the easy going life in the valley and when they retire they decide to come to live here; there is an urbanisation called "Castalla International" where many of them find their place.
  You can also find people coming from other parts of Europe!

  Finding a longstaying person/couple that we can trust would be a must for us, and we could also ask him/her/them to be housekeeper/s while we go to visit my family in Italy
  Please, be aware we'll share our house with you, and we have a son, 2 dogs and 3 cats, so it's necessary you like a "living together" lifestyle, keeping clean and tidy both your room and common spaces and helping with cleaning and cooking.
  We don't accept any drugs/alcohol abusers but you'll have plenty of outdoor space if you want to smoke and you're welcome to have a beer or a glass of wine with us.
  We found very handy to get to know each other during 2/3 days, to understand whether we can both be in a good connection, otherwise no worries and everyone can follow his/her own path :)
  
  Please, be aware that we like having daily meals together, we can cook and you'll be asked to clean and tide up after or vice versa, and we kindly ask you to keep your space clean and nice as common space too. Of course it'll be up to you in your van or tent but having a son we try to present him good example to follow.

  Acomodação

  We offer different kinds of accommodation:
  
  - a private house we have beside our main one, with kitchen and bathroom
  - a room with a bed (it's a room we use as a studio)
  - a place in our property for your van if you prefere to keep on living there
  - a place to put your tent (during warm season, from May to late October)
  
  Always available shared toilet with shower!
  
  We have a WiFi internet connection and plugs to recharge mobile phone or a computer, we are just trying to save energy as much as possible and then decided not to encourage to come over people with too many devices and recharging them 24h/24h'cause we believe that saving energy is good for us and the planet.

  Algo mais...

  During your time off you can chill out, have a walk around the paths enjoying the environment, play with Baraka, read our books, play the guitar or piano, going to visit the small towns I described. No public transport around, but we can give you a lift or you can ride our bike!
  During your free days you can go to the beach in Alicante or other beaches and we can help you to figure out how to get there by public transport.

  Country connection, not as fast as optical fiber but good. Sometimes we prefere to turn it off at night, to have a good rest.

  After hosting a couple with "Alice" a 8m x 2m (3,2m high) old english schoolbus, we can say we have space for big vans!!!

  As we have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a 8 yrs old son, and we receive many friends with children, we invite you to come with your pet just if he/she is really well behaved, dogs/cats/kids superfriendly and not aggressive or hyperbarking at all. Thanks for understanding:)
