It was a great pleasure hosting Stacy, Sebastian, Anjun, Marlo and Tamira. It was our first time hosting a family with three children and it was a great success!
Stacy and Sebastian are very skilled in many different areas, so they helped out with lots of different jobs ranging from maintenance, painting, carpentry, cutting and collecting wood,

Sebastian trained as a carpenter and he built a wonderful outdoor storage cabinet for us. He worked very quickly, using left-over wood from previous projects and did an amazing job!
Both Stacy and Sebastian were very good at maintenance and renovation jobs (painting and plastering cracks of old buildings etc.) and are very flexible to take on different projects and manage their time independently. Stacy prepared some delicious meals for us and was wonderful with my five-month old daughter, entertaining her, playing with her and taking her for walks (and had wonderful assistance from the children with these activities!).
We really enjoyed having the children - Sebastian, Anjun, Marlo and Tamira around, seeing them play outside, running about the property and they took very good care of the animals (as well as helping Stacy and Sebastian with other jobs) – they also were great with our baby and my older daughter (8 years old) who both loved spending time with them! They had lots of fun together!
We hope that one day they will visit again, hopefully for a longer stay!
All the other amazing feedbacks are spot on- the place is great, the host is fantastic and, really, all a Workaway should be. Ella invited us to come and help her despite being new to Workaway and not having any reviews/feedback. And being a traveling family of 5! We did a short video chat to confirm all the details and headed her way. The work

It was an immense pleasure having Camila and Sebastiàn staying with us and helping out for three weeks at our agriturismo. They managed to get so much done that it feels like they stayed for much longer - more like three months!
They are a super-organized and enthusiastic couple, curious and willing to learn!
Sebastiàn and Camila approached

We provided a list of tasks that needed to be done and they went through the list meticulously. The jobs included feeding the chickens, varnishing outdoor tables and chairs and putting them undercover for the winter, cleaning drains, chopping wood and assembling bundles, gardening, tidying up and organizing our storage room, general maintenance of the apartments, helping with baking and assembling furniture.
We really enjoyed the time we spent together and the very interesting chats that we had during their time here.
Camila is also a great chef: we loved the Argentinian pastel de papas she prepared for us as well as her delicious apple cake!
Overall they are very kind and thoughtful people who we could not recommend more highly!
Ella, Alessandro, Alice & Adelaide
This was our first experience at Workaway and we couldn't be more grateful and happy. The people behind the management of this wonderful place-home are wonderful: Ella, Alessandro, the brilliant Alice and "la cachetona" Adelaide.
From the first message we exchanged with Ella, we felt at ease. In a very short time, we agreed and the next week we

Ella is the one we had the most interaction with. She is a sweet, calm, kind, polite, gentle, supportive person and a great pastry chef. Alessandro is also very friendly, calm, and super interesting to chat with during an after-dinner conversation. Alice is a super smart and loving girl and her little sister Adelaide, is so nice. In short, they are supportive, attentive, always willing, relaxed, and very easy to deal with. They made us feel very comfortable.
We spent three weeks helping them, between the end of November and the beginning of December. At this time of year, the apartments are not rented so many of our tasks were linked to getting things up and running or resolved for the next season.
They gave us a list of tasks to be carried out, in order of priority, and gave us absolute freedom and autonomy to carry out all of them according to our opinion and at the times that seemed most appropriate to us.
The range of tasks was very wide: feeding the chickens and cleaning the chicken coop, putting outdoor chairs and tables under cover, varnishing and painting the outdoor furniture, cleaning drains, chopping wood and assembling bundles, gardening, tidying up the warehouse, doing a bit of general order, assemble a piece of furniture.
The place is dreamy, among the mountains, with an overwhelming landscape. The apartments are beautiful, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. The olive oil they produce is excellent! Ella is a great cook, the “pollo alla cacciatora” was amazing! Thank you! We know that Alessandro is a great chef as well, but we will have to test him next time. ;)
All in all, it was a wonderful three weeks experience that we will never forget. We feel that we have made new friends with whom we can meet again. We would surely love to spend more time with you guys, and if you agree, we will be back!

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Giorgia during her stay here! She is a really wonderful person who gave us so much through all her help and her lovely presence and personality.
She is hard working as well as flexible and adaptable to the needs and requirements at the time. She speaks very good English and is a very creative and fun person.

I would recommend her very very highly and hope that she will come back to visit again!

This was my first experience with workaway. The first host that I contacted and that answered me immediately. Ella. After a few emails and a couple of what'sup messages the choise was easly done. I smiled readings the messages we exchanged. I was there to meet to Ella, Alessandro and Alice for two weeks in July. Simply beautiful.
Their welcome,
… read more the simplicity of approach, the gentleness in dealing with people, we had interesting conversations and many laughters! Obviously I fell in love with the little Alice ( and her blond funny locks! ) we spent some funny moments together ( I tell you: she speaks a lot! Very smart little girl!: ) I knew those wonderful places in the centre of Italy well, I studied in Urbino, but I hadn't go there for many years, they are always wonderful. The houses are beautiful and Ella takes care of them very well. The guests staying there are discret and calm, I could meet guests in the garden, silent, respectful of the silence. You can visit many beautiful villages near by', or you could take long walks and trekking in the woods. Or you could enjoy a part of our 'amazing' cultural heritage in this part of Italy.
The work was varied: it took place between the garden, the swimming pool, the houses, a little cooking, make up the houses, hanging out the laundry in the sun (I love it! ) I spent time with Alice making her draw or, in my case, I brought some staff to make her play. After the day's tasks, I used to enjoy the pool and the magnificent panorama.
I brought a bit of me and I came back with a bit of this place in me. A friendship that I hope will last over time, I'd love to be back soon, to share thoughts, ideas, emotions. I am grateful for this experience.
ps: the house in the woods is a chance, I organized myself and ... I did it! I loved it!
pss: I tried to feed the hens but the rooster was not very nice. He tested my strong animal rights faith! ; )
I am sure Ella will laugh reading this!

Its a challenge to find words to describe our experience with: It was the most complete and incredible experience we had with website "workaway" so far. We have never received before so much care and generosity from a host. We are so thankful!
The place is at a hidden paradise in Umbria, not far from the magnificent Assisi. What a nice

Ella had a lot of projects in mind, she needed help with our professsional skills. It was great to help her in anything we could: photos, video, social media, booking and airbnb profile optimization and so on. From the beggining we explained that we were going to need to work more than 5 hours per day to finish all tasks. She agreed to contribute by paying a freelancer job. We stayed at here more than one month working hard but at the same time with the free time we needed to keep creativity flowing.
For us our effort worthed so much: we saw positive results right away and we left this place with our hearts fullfiled with all this love we received from everyone we crossed paths with. We hope that all we did brings a lot of new clients to the business.
We will never forget this wonderful family that are Ella, Alessandro and little Alice, always ready to help us in anything they could. Also the great dinners with other workaways, the kindness of friendly clients that came to our door bringing cakes, the cats always willing to play and cuddle... All of you will always be in our hearts and we will be back soon, no doubts.
Thank you once more for everything!Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

Marcos and Zy are truly fabulous people! It was such a joy meeting them and having them with us working on a variety of different projects!

Staying at the farmhouse was one of the best experiences of my life. It was my first time workawaying as well as being a solo traveller so I did not know what to expect at first. I stayed for a month during August and the entire time I never felt like I was actually working even though I was doing tasks like cleaning the pool, repairing outside

Not forgetting the amazing hosts Ella and Alessandro who welcomed me into their home and let me experience their lifestyle. Highly recommend for anyone!Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.

We stayed for about 3 weeks in October and it was more than we could have asked for. The couple who host are perfectly kind, generous, caring, well-educated and gracious. They welcome you into their home and let you be part of their (growing) family as soon as you meet them. You can really get a feel for life in Assisi, even though you are about

We painted, string trimmed, cleaned the pool, fed chickens, built small garden stone wall, made jams, moved furniture to storage for winter, cooked with them, shared recipes, made lavender bottles, helped with some small computer updates, and much more. We were never over worked or pressured to do anything. If you get the chance and think you can match their greatness, I highly recommend staying with them.
