Hello, This is Abdelhay, but I prefer my friends to call me Alam (my family name), which means "flag" in Arabic!
During my day, I spent it creating things and building my startup while traveling to new places and meeting new people. With my friends, we always talk about god, love, spirituality, and life (big topics), and I am a Sufi practitioner.
My goal through this community is to have the power of diversity and creativity through people who provide me with inspiration and creative power.
I love to work with creative and clever people. In my startup, I'm creating products, innovating, and doing one of the most challenging business parts, which is exporting and selling authentic handmade and natural Egyptian products under the brand name Kemet, yes, the real name of Ancient Egypt.
The goal of this WorkAway experience is to make great friends and do creative work with global, diverse, and creative minds to build my sustainability startup.

I can help travelers have access to friends and communities in different cities, as I'm an active traveler and event organizer. As well as organizing some of the Egyptian Backpacker's events and activities.
We will talk about culture and language, and that will help them have a more authentic experience.

Alojamiento
My apartment, which is my startup office and space, has three rooms, a huge space in the reception, and a very beautiful and special Nile view.
The house has an established kitchen, and most of the time it has food and all the main ingredients like spices, coffee, herbs, and others.
The food is mostly vegan and healthy, as part of my values and lifestyle.
And you are welcome to try the BEST EGYPTIAN FOOD in my family house that lives close to my house.

"Flexibility" is the word here between me and all my WorkAwayers.
Traveling and working at the same time can be very hard, and I don't stop helping and providing my volunteers with all that they require to have easy travel.
As well as flexibility with work, travelers need to enjoy their trip, spend time with locals, discover the area, and sometimes visit a different city for a couple of days. In these situations, we always plan out and agree weekly on what we can do together, and if an urgent situation arises, they can take a break or discuss how we can deliver the outputs we agreed on while taking care of any rising issue.
I'm very flexible, and I love the flexibility in work and life. I believe that it can provide the most efficient way to work and be productive while keeping the team's relationship healthy and growing.

As I work remotely, I like to be connected wherever I'm, and my place is prepared to help me have space and tools to maximize my work productivity. My house actually has a great workstation, office, and good internet and is fully occupied.
