Hi,
I'm Kurt, a 34 year old friendly easy going guy, I have been to many countries around the world and love learning about new cultures. I love to live life and have a good time. Traveling around Australia and the world is a passion of mine. I think workaway is a great way to meet people from other places and learn about how people live and enjoy life from other parts of the world. I live in the Barossa Valley on a 126 acre farm where I am happy to host you!
I used to live in Denmark and Norway. I’m continuing to learn the Nordic languages. So I am also offering accommodation and food in return for Danish or Norwegian language lessons. I would be happy with Swedish and Icelandic as well. I know Icelandic is very different, but I find the language interesting.
Of course if you are not Nordic you are still very much welcome! There are many jobs around the farm that I could use your help with.
One task I need help with is puppy sitting, I have a 2 month old border Collie/ kelpie who needs a lot of attention while she is young. I need someone who loves dogs, but not just puppy cuddles, I need someone who will also help train the dog when I'm not available. Ideally you would have a driver's license so that you can help take her to puppy school as well.

Living in the Barossa Valley is all about wine culture! Also the opportunity to see what local country Australian life is all about! As well as wineries there are nature parks, wild life reserves and various other activities/ experiences.

I'm offering a room in my house on my farm for a single or couple in exchange for building and carpentry help on my barn. I'm currently turning my two story American barn into a house.

Other help could be odd jobs around my small farm.
I'm also looking for anyone from Nordic countries who would be happy to help teach me Danish and Norwegian. I've been learning for several years, but not very good, haha. I used to live in both Norway and Denmark.
All help exchange would be for private tasks around the homested. Not business related.Idiomas hablados

The Barossa Valley is a beautiful place. There are many wineries around which you should check out! There is plenty of opportunity for hiking in national parks. Beautiful beaches are only an hour drive away. The amazing Adelaide Hills are just next door! I can also lend out my car so you can get around if I don’t require it.
