Hi, we are Hanna and Lena, two girls that would love to be a part of your volunteering program. We have known each other since birth because our moms were best friends and have grown up with one another. We love traveling, trying out new activities together and our skills and characteristics complement each other. We enjoy meeting new people and making friends around the world. We are both ambitious, active, hardworking girls that are very interested in the environment and making the world a better place both socially and environmentally. That is why we would love to join your volunteering program and help where help is needed.

We would love to improve our Spanish and are able to teach English and German! I, Lena, have also completed a year abroad in Spain to improve my Spanish and learn about the culture. Hanna is also very quick in picking up a new language and loves to communicate with people no matter the language!

Lena: Hi, I’m Lena Mottes, 18 years old and recently graduated from Phorms Berlin Mitte school in Berlin, Germany. It is a bilingual school (English/German). In addition to Berlin, I have lived in San Francisco (USA) and Copenhagen (Denmark) as well as doing an exchange year in Valencia (Spain) where I lived with a local host family and attended the local school which really improved my Spanish. Last summer I also went on a one-month interrail trip with my 2 best friends, where we visited 6 different countries.
I am very interested in learning about different cultures, foods, people, and the way of life in other countries. I am planning on studying sustainability at university. During my gap year before university, I would like to build on my knowledge of sustainability and helping people in need. That is why I would love to join your volunteering organization.
Experience:
For the last 2 years while at school, I have worked at a neighborhood café and have learned how to calmly but efficiently solve problems, deal with rush hour and cater to customer needs. I have also participated in the Duke of Edinburgh program and successfully completed the Bronze Stage, where I had to volunteer, learn a new skill and do a physical activity for the year. I volunteered at my aerial acrobatics gym teaching the classes for the younger children.
In addition, I’m also active in sports. I play basketball 4 times a week and am part of my school and a club team in my city. I also love to climb, run and stay active through workouts and weight training.
I also love to cook, bake and read and am not picky concerning food, accommodation and getting my hands dirty. I am a very hard-working, positive and motivated person, who is great at teamwork and solving problems together.
I would love to be able to be a part of your volunteering program and help in any way possible. I would be most interested in working in an area where I can learn more about sustainability, but I can easily adapt and learn different jobs.

Hanna: Introduction:
I am 18 Years old, graduated at the public school of arts in Salzburg, where I focused on theatre. I am very interested in seeing and experiencing different cultures, meeting new people, trying new food and supporting people in need. That’s why I decided to join your volunteering organization.
Experience:
I have worked in restaurants, bars, theatres, festivals and stage management. I participated in several theatre plays, musicals and choir performances. Besides my cultural interest I am very active in sports. I love all different kinds of sport, for example running, biking, climbing, and hiking. My favorite sport is swimming and diving. In 2019 I did my scuba diving license and in 2021 I joined the Salzburg swim team.
I love animals, nature, food and people. One of my main interests lies in marine live and the ocean in general. When I was young, I always wanted to study marine biology.
I am very persistent, motivated, optimistic, cheerful, funny and not at all picky concerning food and accommodation.
We would love to support you, do different kinds of chores and help out wherever it is possible.
I prefer physical outdoor work where I can fully be in the nature, harvest food, collect plastics from the ocean and care about animals.

Hanna is a very avid actress and is able to provide some fun and meaningul workshops or courses on theater and acting methods. We have both worked in gastronomy and are very good cooks/bakers/bartenders. Both of us are very active and sporty people, who love to try out new physical activities and teach others about our favorite sport disciplines!
