Hi there,
My name is Chloe but go by the nickname Joe. I am from Miami Florida. Currently, I am living in Glasgow, Scotland, attending the University of Glasgow studying Sociology and Social and Public Policy.
In Miami, I worked in a pottery studio and specialty coffee shop. My free time was spent driving down to the Everglades and cycling during sunrise. I am the youngest girl of 5 kids (4 girls, 1 boy), all super close in age. I grew up in South Miami, raising 16 chickens in my backyard and gardening.

I spent a good chunk of time in the wilderness of North Carolina each year of my childhood. I am an avid hiker and creek hopper, ready for adventure and exploration in any free time. Drawing, singing around a campfire, and dancing are some of my passions.
I love being creative and connecting with others. I would consider myself a pretty open book, I am always excited to hear about other people's journeys and learn from them.
I have no dietary restrictions and I am open to everything! I love to cook and have fun trying new foods.

I spent July of 2021 road tripping and camping the Southeast Coast of the USA and WWOOF-ed at a farm called the Lavra in San Luis Obispo California. We worked on building a house and rebuilding garden plots. I loved the community feel of the farm.
Spring of 2023, I stayed in the mountains of Switzerland, working with a team of 10 volunteers on wagon building and other tasks.
March of 2024, I helped out at an off-grid quinta in Portugal, building a roof, plumbing, planting, and fence building. This time was so wonderful and I felt so connected to nature!

Looking forward to spending more time in nature, learning new skills, and connecting with other likeminded people :)

I love most tasks! Gardening, cooking, building, community work, and animal chores have been some of my favorites thus far.

My time at the Lavra was spent taking care of goats and chickens, weeding, bottling wine, planting, jackhammering, and cooking.
